what if it's in a south america or storybook jungle type (bambi, lion king, brother bear) area?
No way. UP isn't even an animal centred film. If there were ever to be a South America area I want it to focus on the real South America, similar to the Aviary Adventure idea I shared a while ago.

The storybook jungle is a good idea, but no for AK. I think it would be a nice addition in MK, allow for a lot more attractions and space.

So we have a tie. @BryceM @Turtle Here's the tiebreaker. You must answer this question and I will decide the winner. How would you expand Adventureland in MK? Short answer please...

The Ruins - An Adventureland addition that expands westward, just past Pirates of the Caribbean.

The expansion would be themed to ancient Aztec ruins. Guests would walk through and around crumbling structures and dense foliage. At the far end of the plaza would be the ancient Aztec temple, which is fully intact, but crumbling by the minute and covered with vines. The temple would be home to The Cursed Ruins, an E-Ticket dark-ride unique to Magic Kingdom.

The Cursed Ruins - An brand new attraction that utilizes a brand new motion-based vehicle, fully detailed sets and numerous special effects. Guests are placed in the role of helping a historian trying to uncover the many secrets of the Aztecs. However, the temple is cursed and trying to escape will be a whole new challenge.

The Golden Idol - A full-service restaurant located in a mysterious excavation site. In the center of the restaurant is the golden idol, a shining relic that the restaurant was founded around.

Snack-tecs - A quick-service snack stand located under a crumbling archway. Guests will find a new flavor of Dole-Whip here; "Mystery Berry", a swirling mix of raspberry and blueberry flavors.

There. That's my short answer to your question, hahaha.

First off, I would remove the Magic Carpets of Aladdin so that there is less clutter in the land. There would be a new back area to Adventureland which would include this expansion.

Fire Mountain - MK needs a new e-ticket, so there would be a longer more thrilling version of Journey to The Center of The Earth from DisneySea. This would be a trademark of the land and would be visible from anywhere in the land leading up to your adventure (like Sunset Boulevard with Tower of Terror)

The Adventurer's Club (No correlation with the DTD Club) - A dark ride along the lines of Pirates of the Caribbean and Haunted Mansion with great storytelling. You are invited to a high society of explorers called 'The Adventurer's Club' and your first adventure is to conquer the Amazonian jungle (with your travel group of course) The theme would be that you're lost in the Amazonian jungle with wild animals and unknown plants everywhere and your adventurer, Gilligan G. Johnson, tries to lead you to safety. The design of this ride will be reminiscent of Marc Davis and Claude Cots, and it will include funny scenes and upbeat clever music (that's similar to the Sherman brothers). To also add to the feel that this was made at the same era the name is right to the point name for the attraction (Pirates of The Caribbean, The Haunted Mansion, The Adventurer's Club) so it will feel natural like Walt made the attraction. This ride would be indoors.

The Adventurer's Joint (Working title) - Similar to Disneyland's Pirates of the Caribbean and the Blue Bayou restaurant The Adventurer's Club will have a table-service restaurant looking at the first show scene which is them trekking thru the jungle. The restaurant would have South American cuisine (and of course things for people who don't want South American food) , Here is South American Food

That was a fun little tie-breaker. I really, really wish some sort of ancient ruins theming would be featured in Adventureland. And I was really proud of "Snack-tecs"... Hahahaha.
