Is it a better value than what is offered on the ship. We typically buy the disk because we have kids and the ship pics are usually a bit better Only get once chance when they are little.![]()
Not for nothing, but I am not a fan of how things play out at Shutters. How much ink and paper is wasted with people who don't buy? Also, why can't people pick a different size as opposed to going with what is already printed. Any thoughts on this gang?
We tried to skip the embarkation photo last month and they said it was for facial recognition. Well, wouldn't ya know, we rode the Aqua Duck and in the digital album, there was a pic of us coming out of one of the tunnels. I'd have thought though that the first time you sail with them and take your pic, that is the one they use for facial recog. I do know that on our last cruise, they used our first pic we took at the check in counter. On the classic ships i agree, I like the Shutters on the Fantasy where you can * view* on a screen and order if you wish, that to me makes sense, but what we do is a clear * no thanks* if we do not want a photo we say no and that saves the ink and paper.
In Vancouver a lot of people bypassed the embarkation photo its a bit cheesy.

Right, so they really don't need the embarkation pic. If it was a better backdrop, I'd be more inclined to have it taken.
