I have seen this being added to the DCL website, still under construction.

Is it a better value than what is offered on the ship. We typically buy the disk because we have kids and the ship pics are usually a bit better Only get once chance when they are little. :)

It wasn't an option for my last cruise last month and not one for my Med cruise but maybe a bit early, I will keep an eye on it.

Not for nothing, but I am not a fan of how things play out at Shutters. How much ink and paper is wasted with people who don't buy? Also, why can't people pick a different size as opposed to going with what is already printed. Any thoughts on this gang?

On the classic ships i agree, I like the Shutters on the Fantasy where you can * view* on a screen and order if you wish, that to me makes sense, but what we do is a clear * no thanks* if we do not want a photo we say no and that saves the ink and paper.

In Vancouver a lot of people bypassed the embarkation photo its a bit cheesy.

We tried to skip the embarkation photo last month and they said it was for facial recognition. Well, wouldn't ya know, we rode the Aqua Duck and in the digital album, there was a pic of us coming out of one of the tunnels. I'd have thought though that the first time you sail with them and take your pic, that is the one they use for facial recog. I do know that on our last cruise, they used our first pic we took at the check in counter.

Yes they string you that one, but they have your photo for security on the KTTW card!!!

We do not do the embarkation photo but my photos come together!!

Right, so they really don't need the embarkation pic. If it was a better backdrop, I'd be more inclined to have it taken.

Yes normally rather cheesy the inside ship ones are better, it reminds my of a saucy postcard from the seaside, they have your photo for security on your card.
