Has anybody been watching the reality show "My Big Fat Obnoxious Fiance"? Holy cow. There is NO way that girl is going to convince her family that she is in love with him. It aint happening.

Haven't seen it yet, but it looks like a B I G S T R E T C H to get them to fall for it. I also think I've seen that guy on some 'crummy commercial'

Watching it and loving it. I think it's hilarious. Regardless of what happens, I think she'll get the money just because of the hell she has had to endure with him.

It is great. Her parents are going to die. Even after it is all over her parents will probably hate her for putting them through all that. This actor guy is great for the part. :fork:

Mad, you must watch this. It's on FOX at 8:00 on Monday nights. I think they will have a repeat of Episode #2 on Thursday night. It will recap the first episode and go from there.

Summary:

Gorgeous blonde has to convince rich snotty parents that this big fat and obnoxious man is her fiance and that she is marrying him. The parents must approve and stay at the fake wedding.

Twist: The big fat obnoxious fiance is an actor working for FOX to ensure that the family dislikes him. The blonde girl has no idea he is working against her.

It is funnier than what it seems. Hey, it's Fox. What else do you expect, a bunch of losers singing their way to Hollywood? oh, wait... :lookaroun

This is one of the best shows on TV right now. And it spans generations. My husband was talking to an older gentleman earlier in the week. He was going on and on about how he loved the show.

I think the family is in on it....atleast thats the impression I got from the first episode, where they put small clips of everything as it will happen (haven't watched since)...like the actor....the family's job is to give the poor girl a hard time....

Its a stretch but with these reality shows they almost always go for the big twists...just some thoughts...

You must mean that it is one of the best shows on the night it is telecast, in its time slot, on that channel...with that title.

Best show since the Cosby's you say. Well I never! Maybe the best show since "6.5" the little known prequel to "24", due to budget constraints, it was limited in it's run. Of course, casting Erik Estrada didn't help much.

Found myself switching back and forth from the Apprentice to Big Fat. Problems on Mondays is Road Rules/Real World Challenge as is another show that has just slipped my mind. When do you plan on using the "Ming the Merciless" Avatar?

I can't watch apprentice. Trump's hair scares me too much.

Ming and I are at odds right now. We were both bidding on a retro pooh-doll and an autographed Gordie Howe hockey stick on E-bay and he outbid me at the last second. He gets greedy with those fluffy animals, ya know.
