In a post to me, Maria, used the thumbs down sign in my avatar against me. Then after reading what some mid-east ppl said after what happend to the space shuttle Columbia.... I decided to let all of you know just what exactly the thumbs down is for, even if you weren't wondering.

Its a big list, and im not gonna list it all....

First off, the guy is Majin Buu (from Dragonball Z for those of you who didn't know). The thumbs down is him showing his dissaproval of all the talent that has fought him and lost.

Here is what i see the thumbs down for: violence; hatred; ignorance; ppl who judge others based on looks, size, style; and much more BS thats in the world today.

hey, spare a thought for us old f@rts I havnt a clue what or who this chappy is but im sure hes jolly entertaining. I just thought it was another piece of 3rd rate manga cr@p.
as for the thoughts you expressed, all very noble but is this the appropriate place to put the world to rights.

I'd say it's as good as any, and I think the comment was made in self defense which gives him immunity from prosecution.

Well look at what i said about why he was originally showing a thumbs down.. his dissaproval of characters abilities in the show, but I see him smiling because he knows he is better than all the BS in the world, and feels that he can rise above it all, no matter what ppl do to try and bring him down.

1. What prompted this thread?
2. I thought a "thumbs down" simply meant disapproval of something.

Please explain my ignorance.
