Pre-Trip My attemp to turn my friends into Disney Lovers

*here's my daughter on her first trip at 14 months*
The Crew: We're a group of 8 traveling from Massachusetts. We have me, my husband, my daughter (will almost be 3), my best friend, my sister in law, nephew (8), and another couple.

This trip was kind of un planned, but after the following series of events happened, it made this trip a no brainier for us.1. I received a $300 airline voucher. 2. My best friend has never been, but has always wanted to. She's also in the Military so all of those perks made this trip more in our budget. And 3. My brother in law passed away a couple weeks prior to booking this trip so we were all in a "life is short" state of mind. We had taken our first family vacation with his family and my (parent) in laws last March (2015) and had a blast. When we got home, my brother in law had said how much he wanted to go back in October and see all of the Halloween festivities. All that said, we're going In October and staying at Shades of Green for 5 nights.

Now for everyone's "Disney expirence level"....yea, I made that up
-My daughter, nephew and sister in law have been once on our family trip in 2015.
-My husband has been 3 times with me...he knows the lay of land, but isn't really an enthusiast. His favorite is Epcot, so he can drink around the world. I'm trying to sell him on DVC, so I've booked many dinners at deluxe resorts...so what if I have ulterior motives!
- My bestie has never been and is super excited about it. I'm trying to turn her into a lover.
- The other couple coming will be my biggest challenge. They're our really close friends. Last year they visited universal and are head over heels about it. They took one day of their time and went to Disney for the day and visited 3 parks. That said, they didn't get to spend too much time and we're not able to get on many rides cause they did no planning. Anyways, I invited them to come along and shared that I had an itinerary already in place. Well, the husband was all about it! He was like you already planned everything out and I don't have to do anything? We're In! Wish me luck on converting these 2!
-and me....I've been 5 times in the past 6 or 7 years and am hooked. I've been 3 times for work and luckily I work with some other Disney fans/AP holders that visit the park every time we visit our Orlando office.

So far, I have shuttles planned, dining reservations made, shades of green booked, flights booked and Disney Tickets bought.

Next up: I'll share my dining reservations and parks of the day.

Plans
October 20th
we'll be arriving at the airport at 4:30p. We're gong straight to the hotel to drop our bags off at Shades of Green, grabbing a quick bite to eat at one of the Polynesians restaurants and heading to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. No one in my party has been and were super excited to go! My husband and I are going to be safari /zookeepers and my daughter and best friend are going to be lions. My BF is also my daughters godmother, so she's very excited to have matching costumes haha

October 21st
We'll be sleeping in from the Halloween Party and spending the day at Animal Kingdom. I'm excited to go on Everest. My nephew deemed himself the "roller coaster King" on our last trip, so this was him on our last trip.

For lunch we'll be going to the Yak & Yeti. I only have a reservation for 6, so I keep trying to get a bigger one. We'll see And for dinner we're going to Wispering Canyon at the Wilderness Lodge! Super excited to try this!

October 22nd
Hollywood Studios
Thinking of trying Pizzarizzo's for lunch if it's open...
Dinner will be at Cape May at the BC.

October 23rd
Magic Kingdom
My daughter will be having her First Haircut at the Harmony Barbershop...I'm super excited for this!
For lunch we'll do a quick service at Casey's Corner (my husbands favorite) or Something light elsewhere. Dinner is at 4:05 at Ohana! My personal favorite. After this we'll prob hop to another park...maybe AK at night? If it's open.

October 24th
EPCOT
My nephew picked Via Napoli for dinner, but I was only able to book lunch for our large party. That's ok, because for dinner, we'll be trying all the delicious food around the world at the Food & Wine fest! My 3 Disney rookies are super excited for this!

A couple nights my husband and I will swap off on daughter duty, so we can go out and maybe do some of the lounges on the monorail loop or Epcot.

Well I tried the beignets last October but in my opinion they are not that great! But maybe that is because I am European :) Let's hope for a awesome time! But for now let the pre feelings lasts a while longer... otherwise it will be over before we know it :)
