My 1st 1/2 marathon

Thank you to all who has given me such great advice...
The race went well, finished at 2 hours & 1 min. pace was 9:22 mins. per mile....
Felt like such a great accomplishment especially seeing my 4 kids and husband cheering me on at the finish line...
now on to the Tower of Terror run in Sept. and then the Diva run in October....yikes what have i started, lol

Unfort. i don't see a link to attach pictures :(

Congratulations! That is a great time! I am trying to break into that 10 min/mile pace and it is not going well lol!

honestly while i was training i had no idea of my pace till i downloaded an app and i was shocked at that pace, and i kept it up not on purpose, trust me, lol i wanted to go a little slower but i just couldn't, you can do it!!!
10 min/mile pace is great to!!!

I just did a 10 mile race and my avg pace was 11:17. I met my goal of finishing under 2 hours but just want to be a litte faster! I think I need to add some more speed work into my runs.

Congratulations on a fantastic result! It is great to see new runners share their successes with all of us - even when they are already faster than some of us (me) who have been running longer! :lol:
