Just wondering
I've got tickets to MVMCP for Dec 4th and i was planning to spend the day in MK, so would I be able to stay in the park until the party at 7 or do I have to leave the park and then come back again at 7? Stupid question i know but I wasn't sure!

Hi welsh chick No you must leave the Park till 7:00 but
you can go to one of the Hotels to eat.

I have heard that you can go to City Hall around 4:00 pm and they will set you up with a wristband for the party. With the wristband, you will be able to stay in the park. They herd all the MVMCP guests into one part of MK and dump all the day guests out of the park.

We chose to do a PS for LTT, which should allow us to enter MK around 4:00pm for dinner and then stay in the park for the party.

That is correct. Get a wristband from City Hall and you can stay in the park. As I remember, all of the attractions that are scheduled to stay open for MVMCP remain open during the hour between official park closing and the opening of the CP. I recall riding BTMRR about four times and never having to get off! Have fun. We will miss MVMCP this year becuause we will not arrive until Dec 19th and there are no more CP's

When I bought my tickets for that this year I also set up a PS for the liberty tree. The CM making the reservation told me that this restaurant is open during that time when the park closes and it is a good way to kill an hour and get dinner out of the way.

Hey Welsh Chick welcome to the boards!!! First off yes you can DEFINITELY stay in the park if you present your tix at a location where they give out wristbands there are usually a few of them, but by City Hall is ALWAYS one location.Liberty Tree Tavern is a nice way to get into the holiday spirit with a very hearty ( all you can eat!) menu which includes steak, turkey breast, and smoked pork chops ( BRING BACK THE HAM!!!) and all the sides including mashed potatoes, stuffing etc. Also that is the night that the WDWMagic forum members are doing one of our Meet & Greets. I think we were going to be meeting by Tommorowland and then spreading out into the park! Ill be wearing my official Meet shirt so please llok for people who have that on and come over and say hi!! I'm glad you can stay in the park, i didnt really want to leave and then have to come back!
I tried to make a PS for dinner at the LTT but sadly it was all booked up!
But i did get a PS for lunch so i suppose its better than nothing!
And if i see any of you guys wearing an offical meet T-shirt I'll be sure to say hi!!:wave:

Also, just wondering, the meet and greet on Dec 4th, are you meeting at any particular time??

The fantasmic Dessert party will take place at approx. 9p.m. on the 5th. We have not set a time to meet for MVMCP yet. I would suppose that we would meet up a little while beforehand for pictures, etc.

December 5th is our Fantasmic Dessert Party portion of the Meet. If you are still interested in going, please send in your money by Oct. 15th. The cost is $28 per person. It's open to WDWMAgic members and their freinds/family. You MUST sign up and send money in to me by Oct 15th in order to be able to go.

For those of you who do not know what this entails;

We have reserved the private patio located at the theatre for WDWMagic members and their friends/family to enjoy the show and have some wonderful desserts.

We're going to be at WDW the first week of December but heading home on Friday the 5th at 7 p.m. So wish we could have seen the Fantastic Show with you guys! Another newbie question...

At the opposite end of the spectrum from the "can you stay until the party" question...

Can you enter the MK with just a MVMCP ticket after it starts, or did you have to be a ticket holder for the whole day?

My wife and I are planning on arriving at WDW about 7pm on the 5th and I was wondering if we needed JUST the ticket for the party or if we'd have to buy regular admission also.

Hey Wolf, Welcome to the boards!!! The answer to your question is that the tickets are mutually exclusive of each other. If you buy the MVMCP ticket, that will be all you need to get into the Magic Kingdom that night, after 7 pm ,which is when the party starts. If you want to go to the Magic Kingdom ( or any other park for that matter) before 7 pm you need a regular park ticket. The only exception to that rule is the E ride nights. E ticket ( about 12-13 dollars) are kind of an add on to the regular park tickets so you would need both for that. Have an amazing time and make sure you look for us to say hello!! Belle

Just as a reminder, please make sure that you get your MVMCP tickets ASAP. You do not want the night that you intend to go on sell out on you. Please do not wait until the last minute. And remembr, most members are gathering on the 4th and some more on the 9th.

I'll be ordering my tix soon, I just wanted to be sure that I was right about how they worked before getting them and being disappointed, since this is my first time coming for the party (or in December at all, for that matter...)

I'm pretty much locked in to those dates, which is sad because I'd love to be able to get together with all of you or the 4th or 9th...

At least we're going to WDW, right?
