MVMCP Questions...

Heya guys!:wave:


Thinking of doing a MVMCP in December on our EPCOT Trip.:xmas: (Hee hee, getting excited!)


Just some general questions...

How quickly do certain dates sell out? We are looking at Dec 18-19th now.

Also, if we buy tics down here at AAA, how will we get out wristbands? Will Disney provide them when we enter the park? I was under the impression that you get them when you actually purchase the tics.

Also...I have heard you can get in early, around 3 or so? Is that true?...Hoping it is, seeing that we are actually traveling up to Disney on the day we want to do the MCMCP.

I dunno, I didn't work on Christmas when I was there. I went to the Adventurers Club and had a great time though. I did work on Christmas Eve, and I was shocked at how many families were staying out late. The crowds weren't bad though.

Sounds good...Would you say worse than summer crowds or better?

Lived there? Moreso in the second half of my program. I spent every holiday there except, ironically, New Years Eve (because I was on quadruple time at work:king:) On nights when I worked really late, Id go there before work to see the opening shows that I always missed.

hmmm...never been in the summer, but if I had to guess, about the same, but the weather is much nicer and there are more things to see in December.

If crowds were anything like this past trip, I should be fine.:D Everything worked out very well, and we would have the extra half hour, regardless of EMH.:D

MVMCP tip: If you are in MK before 4 pm you can get your wristband in the rose garden across the castle. Enter on the Tommorrow land bridge side show your ticket to CM then walk down the path where other cast member will put the wristband on and exit on the castle side bridge near cosmic ray. You can still buy ticket for MVMCP at your resort or city hall on the same day if available.

Question: The orginal poster said that that they will be going 18 or 19, While there might MVMCP nights around those date is the parade part supposed to end on the 18th? After that date the parade is usually moved to 3pm hour from 18 to the end date after the new year?

MVMCP tip: Don't pay for park admission and then extra for party admission. Choose one or the other. If you choose MVMCP, either go elsewhere in Orlando during the day, or resort hop/rest.

Right....If we even go, it will be on the day we get up there, which will be around 3-4. Even earlier if we make good time.:D

Last year, I purchased my tickets in August for December 17. The night we went to the MVMCP, it had was sold out. I would decide what date you wanted to go, and buy your tickets.

You get a ticket that you put through the turnstile like any other admission media and after you get into the gate, there are CM's handing out wristbands beginning at 4pm.
