MVMCP on rainy nights?

Does the weather effect any of the events or are you gauranteed a complete party??

If it's raining you can be reasonably sure they won't do the castle show. I've been in past years when everything was sort of damp because of earlier rain and low temperatures and they cancelled this show every performance that night. One time they got about 60 seconds into it and stopped and cancelled due to 'technical difficulties'. I went two years in a row without being able to see that show since it was cancelled due to 'technical difficulties'

Have yet to see MVMCP but when we went to MNSSHP in October it rained like crazy. They did cancel the castle show, but the fireworks did get off.

The weather can affect the parade, the castle show, some rides and the fireworks. There are no guarantees provided, but if it's a really miserable night you can usually get a ticket for a day in the park that's good any time in the next year if you go to Guest Relations while you're there.

The only thing that really isn't affected is the fireworks. It depends on the heaviness of the rain to cancel the parade (though if it goes out in rain, certain things might be pulled). The characters either go to indoor locations, or don't come out at all. And the shows are canceled (with exception of the one in Tomorrowland, I believe).
