MVMCP in November.. which day & what special characters are out?

This is going to be a multi question post, sorry.. but I did not want to make seperate threads.

I have been researching on here about the MVMCP and although I am not sure if it will be quite as fun as MNSSHP, we do want to go.

The dates that we will be there that there will a party are November 10, 12 & 13th. The 10th will be the first party so that worried me a little thinking it might be more crowded but then again we did go to the first Halloween party last year and it wasn't.

The party on the 13th will fall on a Friday (to bad that didn't happen for the Halloween one ..lol) I am thinking it would be the most crowded? What do you guys think? I am trying to get all my ducks in a row so I can make dining reservations that won't conflict with the party.

Also for those that have been ... DD & I love seeing new characters & special costumes. Are there some rare characters that we might be able to see like there are at the MNSSHP?

Last one.. They do light the castle for the parties don't they?

I'm so very happy to hear you went to 1st MNSSHP last year. We are going to the first one this year and was a bit worried.

I suggest going on the 12th. We did a Thursday night last year and it wasn't busy at all. We took in the dance parties and Fantasy Land attractions during the 1st parade. Then we hit fireworks, BTMRR and DH and DS got to ride in their own boat on Splash. We watching found a great spot for parade in fron of Pecos Bill's about 10 mns before parade started.

We had a wonderful time at the party and crowds were way lower than I had thought they would be. We ended up with about 20lbs of candy because at the end of the night they were packing handfuls into any bag that we had, it was insane :ROFLOL:We also were able to ride Splash in our own boat which was neat.

I was thinking the 10th or the 12th so it is great to know it wasn't crowded when you went. I really want to take more time to do some of the characters because at the Halloween we missed a few.

When we went in 2007 we saw Donald Duck and Scrooge McDuck at Donalds tree lot and we saw Belle in her Christmas dress with Beast in his tux. Stich had a Christmas hat and scarf on, Jasimine with Prince Ali then Genie and Abu took their place, Snow White and her Prince., everyone else that we saw had some sort of winter/holiday scarf or hat. Have a great time it is so much fun!!! Also when we were there they did light up the castle and make sure to walk down Main St when its snowing :xmas:

We were hoping for Scrooge! That sounds great. I can't wait to see the snow, we did see it at DHS or MGM as it was then in 2000 on the Streets of America but we did not go to MK at night because it was so crowded. We were there Thanksgiving week. I am soo excited I cannot stand it!

Mickey & Minnie are dressed in holiday wear as well! In 2006 we got Micky & Minnie together. In 2008 it was just Mickey!
