DW has just booked the dessert party the same night that we are going to MVMCP. This can only be a good thing right?

How? I thought you could only book the DP 60 days out. We are doing both in Nov. but on different nights. We did the DP on the 18th of this month. View of Wishes alone was worth the money. Of course the fact that it stormed like crazy and the the DP is under cover helped greatly. I think I gained 10 pounds that night!! ;)

Yes we really enjoyed the viewing of the fireworks. All those desserts yum yum. Would we do it again? Yes yes and yes. If I were you just go for it it's a good experience.

Thanks for your response @karl75! I have two little ones and am hoping to avoid some of the crowds by going to the dessert party on MVMCP. Do you have any pointers for making the most of both that night? Do you feel you missed out on any of the MVMCP activities? Thanks again! :)

We went on June 19th and loved it. There's no need to get in line 2 hours ahead because everyone has assigned tables. It's great to get a break from the crowds. Construction is noticeable during daylight and not an issue after dark.

Have fun

I've gone back and forth on whether to book it for our party night as well. I am always so worried on missing out on a party aspect if I have to dedicate time elsewhere :)

Personally, I fail to see the point in paying for MVMCP and then spending an hour of your 5 hours eating desserts that you pay even more money for. I would rather spend the entire time taking in the MVMCP offerings. But, if you are that aversive to the Wishes crowds, I can see booking the party. For myself, I'd do the Wishes Dessert Party a different night. In my experience, crowds during Holiday Wishes are not as bad as crowds during Wishes on a normal night. Do you have very young children?

I'm also doing the dessert party the night of MVMCP. I'm planning on going to the Tomorrowland Christmas show and heading over to the party. I plan on being late to the party since it's assigned seats and I really don't need an hour to eat desserts. I thought it would give my family a little break plus we won't have to find a spot early for the show.

My kids are 9 and 8 so not super young. My biggest concern is the same as yours, I am paying for the party so I want to fully experience the party, and then maybe do the dessert party another MK night. That being said, if it was a special dessert party on MVMCP nights that was different than the normal party, I would definitely do it.
