We are going to WDW for the first time in February and my family has so wonderfully given us 300 dollars to get gifts for the kids while at the park.
We have purchased ears, lanyards, pins and autograph books from Ebay already but are trying to figure out what else they might like while we are there.
I know they will definately choose what they want but maybe some ideas so I can lead them in the right direction.

The little toy sets that they have for almost all the varying movies and characters are great. My daughter got almost every princess set while we were there in 2011 and she still plays with them all. She calls them her action figures. They are great for them to play with while in the hotel rooms too b/c they don't take up much room and they can act out scenes from there fave movies of Disney shows!

I agree with the play sets! Heck, you might even enjoy playing with them! :D Also, my mother bought my little cousin a magnet book that was on clearance at the POR gift shop years ago. It had a bunch of different movie characters in it, and a bunch of different scenes to it, and we were told she played with that for almost the entire 21 hour drive back from the World! If you could find one of those, I think it'd be worth it. Although, they probably don't sell them anymore.

It's always cool to go back to school with a new Disney shirt! Those playsets are nice and the fill a potato box,a potato head and all the parts you can fit in a box for about $20 hint put parts in the potato more bang for your buck!!

It depends on there age. But if there young perhaps a plush of there favorite character. You could also buy them Disney tshirts. Be sure to take them to Downtown Disney, lots of stores there especially World of Disney! Good luck and have fun!

I would say a personalised christmas ornament , christmas stocking etc to keep, and you can use from year to year. Toys dont ever last forever. When we went to DLRP, my daughter fell in love with the dragon that lives under the sleeping beauty castle, so we bought her a fine crystal dragon ornament. Something she like s to look at now and remember her trip by, but also something to keep for when she is older. You have the ears etc, one other priceless purchase we have, is a specially framed photo of the whole group with Mickey Mouse. My daughter chose one thing from the whole holiday, a plush of Pluto. He has had many a cuddle!

The playsets look like to be good gifts! I'll remember that for when I will buy Christmas presents for my cousin's kiddos. They love Disney and I've got to get them something before they get to go to WDW themselves!

My daughter always picks out one or two girly things per trip like hair scrunchies, bracelets, etc. Things she can wear to school and still use when she gets older. There are also some cute pencils where the top are shaped like Mickey or Donald. I get her one every year to start school with.

My son was too young and I kicked myself for not getting it last time but everywhere I saw the BEST play food playset of all unique Disney foods! It has a mickey bar, mickey pretzel, rice krispy treat, turkey leg. Stuff like that. It was so cute!
I try to get unique to Disney World stuff. If I can get it on the website or a Disney store I don't want it. They are on the site, but the Spaceship Earth, castle, monorail playsets are pricey but cute as well.

My kid is hooked on those playsets too!

I've been pleased that every year they've added new ones, so she can keep growing her collection. I have noted that many of the sets on the park seem to only be readily available there. They aren't all the same as the ones you can get at Walmart or target.

Next on the list is the Castle playset. Se eyes it every year, and last year I made the mistake of telling her she could pick out one item at the Pop gift shop...but failed to place any constraints on that. I was across the shop looking at shirts and here she comes lugging this huge box with the castle in it. It was so big, she couldn't see around it!

It is a cute memory for me. I wish I had gotten it for her then, but I recall that I had concerns how we would get it in our luggage and that I could order one for her online.

But...I could have figured that out. Regrets. If she wants one this next trip, she certainly will have that option!

We saw how big that box was and decided that our daughter could ask Santa for it, which of course was at the top of the list for 4 months. Online ordering made it simple for us. Now she plays with that all the time with the character playsets she gets.
