Hi all. We will be in Disney in just 22 days (eeeekkk!!!!) so we will be there for the F&W festival. Our travel group consists of myself, husband, 5 year old daughter, 1 year old daughter, and my parents. We did not choose this time specifically for the F&W, it just worked out that way. Obviously our trip will be somewhat catered to our girls, so I assume while we are in the World Showcase we will mostly be focused on characters and whatnot. I don't anticipate having too much time to really take part in the food and wine festivities. However, I'm hoping for a few food suggestions- what have you tried in the past that you absolutely recommend we check out? And just a note, my husband and I are not big drinkers so we most likely will not be spending extra money on drinks :)
Thanks!!

Just add the Beer Cheese Soup and Filet Mignon from Canada to this list and you're golden.

I go to the F&W every year and honestly have enjoyed everything I've eaten. I would recommend trying something different and realize just how awesome it can been. 2 favorites that only a vegetarian wouldn't enjoy are the filet from Canada and the lamp chop from Australia, both are excellent.

Oh what a tough question! Everything I had last year was excellent lol. I went for kiosks that had items we couldn't get back here at home. Here is my list:

Australia - Sweet and Spicy Bush Berry Shrimp. We loved this so much we got the recipe and started making it at home :)
Ireland - Seafood Fisherman's Pie
Islands of Caribbean (last year was Dominican Republic) - Pescado con coco
Patagonia - Beef empanada

And like always at EPCOT, we have to get the cinnamon sugar croissant doughnut from the Refreshment Port.

This thread just made me very hungry. Everything everyone has listed is delicious. I second what one poster said about trying new and different things. I've learned a lot about my own tastes at F&W by trying things I never thought I would eat. I've never tried anything there that I didn't like.

The beef from Canada really stood out to me the past couple of years - a small but perfectly cooked cut of meat, maybe 4 bites or so. Very tender, well seasoned - just a nice cut of meat!

Most of our "must-eats" have been mentioned. The only two I'd add are the chocolate creme brûlée in France (I used to love their milk chocolate creme brûlée, but anything similar's good), and the Chocolate Studio's Liquid Nitro Chocolate Almond Truffle. That's a new booth, but my recommendation is based on a very similar offering at another nearby booth (Chew's?) last year. And for me, the Greek spanakopita's a must-do, but maybe not for everyone.
