Musical Fountain at Epcot

The last few of time I have been at Epcot the musical fountains beside innoventions have not been operating.
Can anyone tell me if thay have been discontinued or if I have just been unlucky.
It used to be thoroughly relaxing to stand and watch the fountains and listen to the music after a long day at the parks.
I do hope that they are not gone forever as this is one of our video memory highlights.

I can assure you that it still dances to music. we were there this past week and it was working.

Is there a timetable that they run to or does it vary significantly.
Can you get the music as part of any of the Disney music collections.

The fountain performs every fifteen minutes if you listen closely you'll hear chimes like a grandfather clock. It then performs a longer show on the hour.

Thanks for the info. When I was last there in Dec. 2002, the fountains weren't dancing at all and we kept thinking that they must've changed the schedule as everytime we passed there was nothing special going on.

Last Oct they has some set up to take your picture in front of the foutain with SSE behind it. I hope they did not take it away because it made for a lovely memory.

They still run.....

I was at Epcot for the 4th of July and they were on...what happens is that if its really windy, they will not turn them on.
So the weather has alot to do with it. If you ask a cast member at the information/pin station by the fountain, they will have more info on it.

But i must say the best time for me to see the fountains is druing the Christmas Holidays. The play Holiday Music and its so beautiful to see at night.

I was at Epcot at the end of July and the fountain was on.

Just some info, the musical fountain at Epcot was built by Wet Design the same company that did the musical fountains at Bellagio Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. They also built the 2002 Salt Lake City Winter Olympics torch.

Wet Design calls the fountains at Epcot, Epcot Center Fountain of Nations.
