Now that disney owns the muppets where do you think the first Muppet Vision (sighting!) will appear in the world? I.m thinking MGM, but they will be a welcome addition anywhere and everywhere they appear!! I think they'll fit well!! I,m looking forward to them!

If you're referring to seeing muppet characters in MGM, that has been around for years. Outside muppet vision 3D I've often seen the characters. Now Disney doesn't have to pay a licensing fee to use them!

Oh, there will be a lot more muppet merchandise. Also, expect a bunch of direct to video movies.

I also wouldn't be surprised if sometime in the next few years we hear that Muppets 3d is getting redone... something to attract new interest in the fact that disney has the muppets.

You know, a part of me wants the Muppet Vision 3D show updated/redone. But another part of me doesn't want them to touch it. It really is a "classic" in my mind. It is incredibly hysterical and I would hate to get a new one that wasn't as good as it is now. However, I do know that with today's newest technologies in the realm of 3D movies and 4D effects, a new Muppet show could be another real winner. Personally, my favorite Muppet character is a relativiely new character and he isn't in too much. Its Pepe, the shrimp ("King Prawn")...okay? ;) He is hysterical and I would love a new Muppet movie to use him in some way.

Anyways, in addition to video movies, etc., Disney also said they will bring back a new Muppet TV show! I loved those and am so glad Disney will be bringing it back.

I am hopeful the Muppets will get a lot of attention from Disney. Eisner himself said that only a few characters have that "edge" or "sparkle"....including Mickey, Pooh and Kermit....and he expects Disney to make Kermit as big as Mickey or Pooh are now.

I think MuppetVision is a classic as well. I do hope that they will eventually put in the Muppet Movie Ride and the Pandolorium Pizza Parlor that have been mentioned on other threads. I also hope that they bring back the Muppet Show-I loved that show. It would be cool if they made a whole new series of it, but if not at least release the old ones on DVD.

Trust me they will be using the muppets a lot more around MGM, as for merchandise dont expect a whopping amount of new merchandise as they already do have a nice amount of muppet merchandise outside MV 3D. As for Great Muppet Movie Ride expect this attraction to be greenlighted within the next few months, a year tops i think. As for the Pizza Parlour i would say thats about 50/50 happening as their are a lot of people who like Mama Melrose's a lot. The new ride i think though is a lock. The studios crew has been planning for the last year or so to spice up the New York Street area (in order to even out the park from RNR and Tower) although i doubt the great muppet movie ride will be quite as big as GMR.

Awww now i'm praying they don't close Muppet Vision 3d for new work to be done because i've always wanted to see it since i saw the build up last time i went!

Keep it open just for me until september! Not unreasonable i'm sure!!!! :lookaroun

This would be great! I'd love to see The Great Gonzo's Pandemonium Pizza Parlor. Jim Hill describes, "a live broadcast from the kitchen -- where Gonzo and Rizzo would assure that things were going great and that our food would be out shortly. Only -- based on what was going on in the background of these scenes that were supposed shot in the kitchen -- things were clearly *NOT* going great. We'd watch as lobster banditos escaped from their pots and held the waitstaff hostage, or observe as the Swedish Chef was suddenly attacked by a very large -- and very lively -- mound of pizza dough...the Great Gonzo's Pandemonium Pizza Parlor -- with its kitchen doors that would occasionally belch open, sending great clouds of smoke and chicken feathers into the dining room..." See doesn't that sound fantastic? I think it would be better than a character meal.

The idea for The Great Gonzo's Pandemonium Pizza Parlor is definitely a good one. I can just imagine the line out the door and then some for an attraction where you're also served food.

They can do what they want to the Muppet Show, as long as they dont touch the Pre-Show, hands down, that is the best Pre-Show ANYWHERE.
