I have decided to turn this Muppet Area of DHS into a full-fledged theme park, because I have enough ideas to fill one. I will soon post the names of the lands, maybe a few more attractions and shops, and quite possibly a name change.

Well, here's the beginning.

Muppets Studios

Either the 5th WDW Gate or 3rd DLR Park

Lands:
World Wide Studios
Muppet Classics: The Muppet Movie/ The Muppet Caper/ The Muppets Take Manhattan
Muppets Christmas Land
Muppets for a new generation: Muppet Treasure Island/Muppets From Space/Muppets Wizard of Oz
Jim Henson Plaza
Fraggle Rock
Henson Productions
Muppet Labs Courtyard
Gonzo's Downright Foolish Stunt Thrill Backlot

World Wide Studios
As you enter the Park, the first thing you notice is a big sign that says: World Wide Studios: As you continue walking, you see the famous Chinese Theater. This theater houses The Muppet Movie Ride. As you look to your left, you see a large sign that reads: FILMING TODAY: THE MUPPET SHOW. There are 4 buildings behind that sign. First Building: The Pigs in Space Experience. Second Building: Cooking with the Swedish Chef.[/B]. Third Building: Veterinarian’s Hospital. Fourth Building: The Electric Mayhem- Live in Concert. All of a sudden, a giant balloon with the face of Kermit the Frog on it. This is Muppet-Vision 3D. After seeing that, you decide to return to the Chinese theater and see what was to the right. The first thing you see is a large building, with a few rats scaling down the side of the building. This is Gonzo’s Pandemonium Pizza Parlor. In the distance, you hear the sound of engines starting. You turn, and see people whirling around the tracks of Muppet Race Mania.Behind this is Rizzo’s Pawn Shop, The Muppets Hall of Fame and The Wocka Wocka Club. You then begin to hear music. You look behind Muppet Race Mania, and see some Muppet characters dancing around on stage. This is Muppets On Location, which instead sometimes shows Here Come The Muppets. As you return to the front of the park, you notice two archways on both sides of the Chinese Theater. You decide to take the one on the left, which says: THE MUPPET CLASSICS.

Will soon post the Muppet Classics section.

The Muppet Classics Section, based on The Muppet Movie, The Muppets Take Manhattan, and The Great Muppet Caper.

Muppet Classics
As you enter the Muppet Classics area, you begin to hear the melodious sound of Kermit’s “Rainbow Connection.” This music is coming from Kermit’s Swamp Adventure. As you continue, you begin to hear “Movin’ Right Along,” sung by Fozzie and Kermit. This is coming from the nearby ride, Movin’ Right Along. Then, a large pair of green frog legs comes into sight. These mark the entrance to Doc Hopper’s French Fried Frog Legs. After you get yourself a Frog Leg Burger On A Fried Green Bun (Ick.), 4 buildings come into sight. The first is Beau’s Taxi Ride. If you survive, you move on to The Dubonnet Club, where, quite frankly, the roast beef is the price of an Oldsmobile. As you continue on, you see Miss Piggy’s Motorcycle Rush. Next to that is Catch The Thieves Red Handed! After a member of your party asks “What color are their hands now?”, as you slap them on the back of their head, you move on to the back of The Muppet Classics. The first building you see here is Pete’s Luncheonette. Next to that, you see The Rat-Tastic Tour of NYC. Across from that is the very emotional Saying Goodbye. After you break out the Kleenexes, you come to the last stop in The Muppet Classics, Manhattan Melodies. You then decide to take the bridge to MUPPETS FOR A NEW GENERATION.

I will eventually post descriptions for rides/restaraunts/shops that I have not yet covered.

New Generation should be up later tonight or tomorrow.

Regarding Muppets Take Manhattan, how about doing a dark ride with one of the following three scenarios?

A) The Muppets take you through a mis-guided tour of New York where they explain things wrong, tell you what's wrong, and pop up as "tourists" here and there.

B) The Muppets take you backstage during one of their performances to see what really goes on, hilarity ensues, and all falls apart.

C) Take a dark ride through the "Manhattan Melodies" scene. Guests can tour onstage, backstage, and every which way in between.

?

Just some ideas.

Thanks for the ideas! I turned the first one into a tour of NYC with the rats for the Muppet Classics Section.

Any ideas for Muppets from Space or either christmas movie?

Also, I want to know what you think of some of the rides in the Muppet Classics Section,

I haven't seen either movie in a while but I think a 3-D show would work well for Muppets From Space and perhaps a dark ride for Muppet Christmas Carol where the ghosts take you through the story of 'A Christmas Carol' with the Muppets.

What about a show/attraction based on the following Muppets segments:

Muppet News Flash (like a live newcast/comedy show or 3-D movie)
Vend-a-face machines

The Great Muppet Caper Ride (like a haunted house)

Muppets Inside 3-D: A simulator based on the video game where the Muppets go inside the computer. You could really work with this.

The Muppets Tour Walt Disney World: Based on the old tv special but with updated attractions. It could be a 3-D show or simulator.

And what about The Muppet Plaza Theater where Muppets shows, shorts, and films are played all day long.

And what about a Broadway-style Muppets Wizard of Oz show? It could be a 45-minute show similar in feel and style to the Aladdin musical at DCA.

A muppet 3-D Sound Theater similar to Sounds Dangerous.

Did you already mention "Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Electric Mayhem"? I thought you did.

A "Happiness Hotel" ride similar to Tower of Terror.

A Studio DC: Almost Live! attraction.

A Fraggle Rock dark ride.

Miss Piggy's Limo Service (a proposed DCA attraction replacement for Superstar Limo)

How about a Muppet Babies attraction?

Like any of those?

The classics section sounds awesome and I can't wait to hear more about the attractions!

All your ideas are great (I really like the Movie ride idea) but I doubt Disney would ever build basically the same rides just different theming right across the park (star tours GMR) But it is fun to dream about, great job!

As far as Muppet news flash, I'm not sure that would work, just because of the character. The Newsman isn't the Muppet you would have a conversation with, just listen to him.

The Vend A Face would be a great gag placed somewhere in the park, but I don't think it could be made into a whole show.

I like the Muppets Inside idea. I think I'll throw that in over in World Wide Studios. Or.. I could create a whole area of the park based on Muppet Labs. I think I'll do that.

This was pretty much what another user said in another thread. Now that I have created a new park, I'll put that in somewhere. By the way, I have seen The Muppets at Walt Disney World. It's one of my favorites.

That's pretty much what The Muppets Hall Of Fame is gonna do.

Hmm... maybe. But I think I have too many live shows.

Could be a decent addition to A Muppet Labs area.

I did, and the only reason I didn't include it is because there is already a RnRC. Plus, Electric Mayhem only has a couple original songs: Can You Picture That, Nap Time, Love Bomb may be an original, Rockin' All Around The World, and maybe one or two more.

Same reason I didn't include it as above.

How could I make a Studio DC attraction?

Shhh.. that's one of my ideas for the Fraggle Rock section. :lookaroun

I like it, and I think maybe I could put it next to Muppet Race Mania.

Yeah, I was also planning another section based on other Henson stuff. (Muppet Babies, Dinosaurs, Dark Crystal, Labyrinth, Bear in The Big Blue House, and maybe make a deal with CTW to include some Sesame Street.)

Alright, cool.

Labyrinth Maze (for real)
Dark Crystal attraction like Alien Encounter would be pretty sweet

:)

 Gonna need to think of a new name for that.

I think I'm only going to make ride thru rides for both those movies though, nothing too special.

I also plan for the main Fraggles to appear there.

I was actually going for Rowlf, just because there isn't much for him.

It would be called "The Dogfather."

Or Kermit as "The Frogfather."

I posted this in the wrong place I guess

I just joined and for one of my first posts I decided this subject matter to be right up my alley since I’m a Dreamer. So enjoy the ride idea sorry its so long and detailed I’m just very excited.

Muppets Studio Tour

Location: DHS, in the Streets of America between Al’s Toy Barn and Muppet Vision 3-D

The ride is a Flume raft ride like Jurassic Park River Adventure in IOA. It is housed in a studio like the other attractions in DHS , but will be front faced to look like a building maybe even like the Happiness Hotel (The Great Muppet Caper) with the hole in it from the Taxi.
Muppets studio tour will take you through the wild and crazy world of the Muppets. A journey along side Kermit and Friends bringing you through scenes from their very popular movies such as The Muppet Movie, The Great Muppet Caper, and of coarse Muppets take Manhattan. As the ride comes to its wet end Gonzo pops out with his camera snapping a picture of you and your family for that keepsake photo as you plummet 80 ft. getting you and the audience below soaked on your way down.
Story: While waiting in the queue area the story begins, you are touring the Jim Henson Studios while filming is in the progress of Muppets Treasure Island. During your wait you will watch “bloopers” of the Muppet show and over hear things that are going on in the sound stage beyond. Like how Miss Piggy is tired after shooting A scene, and has retired to her dressing room in the soundstage that you are about to tour. She was running herself a bath and was interrupted and told to come back to the set. In one of her famous fits she leaves the bath running which mixed with the sets water, floods the soundstage. Kermit decides its ok to take the prop boats as a tour vehicle (your raft) that you will now board and float around old sets and other projects the Muppets are working on. Eventually the tour nears the top of the soundstage and the only way out is through a large window that looks over the rest of the studio (DHS) while you go crashing through the window Gonzo snaps a photo to use for the lot news paper and you end up soaked on the cover. Then you will return to the studio through the Taxis hole where you can meet some of the Charecters.
Why the Muppets: The 3-D show is just not enough, especially for a Muppets fan. With the show the gift shop and this dreamed ride I feel the beloved characters will have more validity in the park and give them a “land” (Pixar Place) so to speak. Maybe they could call it Jim Henson Studio Lot, giving them abilities for future projects as more movies are produced by his company. Also it will give another destination to the Streets of America and another E-ticket ride to DHS. I know a water ride would also be appreciated in the hot days and Muppet fans, adults and kids will all enjoy this silly, fun ride.
Restaurant: Since it doesn’t have to be connected to the ride, how about an Asian themed restaurant located in the “Little China” area of San Francisco street.

OK… so I decided to finish this whole project and repost the whole park. I can answer any questions about any ride or attraction.

This is Gonzo’s Pandemonium Pizza Parlor. In the distance, you hear the sound of engines starting. You turn, and see people whirling around the tracks of Muppet Race Mania. Suddenly, there is a large explosion. You quickly turn around, and see Dr. Bunsen Honeydew and his assistant, Beaker, roaming around in The Muppet Mobile Labs. Behind them is Rizzo’s Pawn Shop, The Muppets Hall of Fame and The Wocka Wocka Club. You then begin to hear music. You look behind Muppet Race Mania, and see some Muppet characters dancing around on stage. This is Muppets On Location, which instead sometimes shows Here Come The Muppets. After you break out the Kleenexes, you come to the last stop in The Muppet Classics, Manhattan Melodies. You then decide to take the bridge to MUPPETS FOR A NEW GENERATION.

Muppets for A New Generation
As you enter Muppets for a New Generation, you begin to hear pirate tunes and swashbuckling songs. Do you dare enter the Admiral Benbow Inn? Or maybe board The Hispaniola? You continue on and find the combination water ride/on foot tour known as Treasure Hunt. As you continue on, you hear the song Brick House. This song is coming from The Muppets Boarding House, complete with the Electric Mayhem Bus. Next to it, you see Gonzo’s Space Race. As you continue on, you hear that song Celebration. You then see Gonzo and all his family dancing around on stage in Celebration! Then, you find a yellow brick road. As you walk down it, you enter Munchkinland. You then continue down the road and see some of the scenes from The Muppets Wizard of Oz. Then, you find The Wicked Witch of the West’s Hideout. Next to that, you can take to the skies in The Flying Monkey’s Flying Motorcycles. If you can escape with your lives, you can go the Emerald Palace. Just then, you begin to hear Christmas carols. You look at a sign covered with lights and snow. It reads: MUPPET CHRISTMASLAND.

Muppets Christmasland
As you enter Muppets Christmasland, the first thing you realize is that you are on an 1800s era street. You find many shops and restaurants along the street. Then, you find Scrooge’s Banking Company, which houses the ride Christmas Eve Adventure. Then you realize that you are no longer on an 1800s era street, but instead a present day big city street. You then see the Muppet Theater, where you can see the many Muppet characters, sit in Statler and Waldorf’s balcony, watch a regular Muppet Production, and during Christmas time: you can choose to watch either Cirque du so lame, or Moulin Scrooge! The theater also houses the ride Save the Muppet Theater! As you exit the theater and continue down the road, you find the ride through of The World in Which Kermit was Never Born. You then exit the ride, and see that there is no more to be seen. So, you find another sign that says: JIM HENSON PLAZA.

Jim Henson Plaza
As you enter Jim Henson plaza, the first thing you see is a large statue of the Muppet Jim Henson. Then, you hear the ever-familiar Sesame Street theme song. This is coming from an exact replica of 123 Sesame Street. As you continue, you find the Muppet Babies Adventure and Muppet Babies Live! Then, as you continue, you find Choose your adventure: Dark Crystal, Labyrinth, or The Storyteller. Close by is Firey Flight. Then, you continue on and find KMUP Studios. Then, the last thing you see is Jim Henson: A Legend.

Fraggle Rock
As you exit the Jim Henson Plaza, you begin to hear that familiar tune: “…down at Fraggle Rock!” You then realize you are in the Gorg’s Garden…. and it’s gigantic!! You’ve shrunken down to the size of one of the Fraggles! Follow the trail of radish sticks to a nearby rock. You enter the rock… and realize that you are now in the realm of Fraggles and Doozers. The first ride you see is Fraggle Rock Tours. Next to it is Gobo’s Fraggle Coaster. Also, you can ride Red’s Flyers. As you continue through the cave, you enter the Doozer’s area. Kids can play at The Doozer Construction Site. You then continue on to Doc’s Workshop as you return to normal size and enter GONZO’S DOWNRIGHT FOOLISH STUNT THRILL BACKLOT.

Gonzo’s Thrill Backlot
As you exit Doc’s workshop, you notice a big rollercoaster that looks like it was put together in less than a week. That’s almost true… a week and a day. This is Gonzo’s Stunt Coaster. Nearby that is Gonzo’s Wild and Insane Stunt Show. The final ride in the entire park is Gonzo’s Cannon Launch.
