Thanks for sharing. It is always fun to see new Muppet materials. And I agree that it would be great to see more presence in DHS.

I've been saying the Muppets are ready to come back to primetime TV. Most of the things I've seen are done in the classic Muppet Show style. I could see any of these clips on the Muppet Show, whether it be the new Disneyland comercials or the online clips. It's really, really great.

They need to put more Muppet merchandise in the gift shops. It's difficult to find T-shirts, figures, etc. for more than a couple of the Muppet characters.

IMHO
:)

That ride needs an update badly even the pre show!

one broken TV in the pre show, broken firework projector on the ceiling, broken wall projections on the sides. some raggedy ______ looking muppets besides... it's not the experience I remember in 92 when that place opened, for sure :(

I may be a little overzealous, but I'd like to see a Muppets themed restaurant with a Swedish Chef AA and a comeback of Emmet Otter's Jugband Christmas videos and merch. Not sure if HBO still owns any rights on Emmet, though.

Well, we are getting Muppet Whatnot Workshops and a new pre-show and HD video on the attraction over at DHS. Next thing you know they'll retheme the whole Streets of America into Muppetland. I wouldn't mind this. The Streets of America has really lost its magic. You can easily see what's holding the facades... And I'm not a fan of the big, large cutouts of San Francisco and NY.

Yes! I wish they would. I think the whole idea of a city "backlot" has kinda weared out. At this point, if anyone needs a large cityscape, they just make it out of CGI. The whole large-scale city set really has disappeared from movies for the most part. When you think about it, SoA and the area around it constitutes about 1/3 of DHS, and its all more or less a disjointed mass of facades and, ultimately, a waste of space. I say get rid of the SoA and make it into something new.

Ideally for me, there would be two new areas: 1) the current Muppt/Toy Story area along with Pizza Planet and Als Toy Barn becomes a Star Wars themed area; 2) The main area of the SoA around and behind the Muppet theater, as well as the HISTA playground area, is used for a Muppet area. With these two new areas in place, LMX would disappear and replaced with a new themed land (perhaps a super hero based area now that Disney has purchased Marvel? Though this would be tough considering IoA already has Marvel Superhero Island.)

Miss Piggy was on Dances with the Stars last night. Early in the season animal was playing the drum and someone danced to the muppet theme. Glad to see more Muppets.
