Speaking of Jim Henson's productions - I would LOVE to see Fraggle Rock brought to WDW. :D

The problem with that is Disney didnt buy the fraggles only the muppets and bear. But on the up side, henson co. is making a fraggle rock movie. Its more than a year or so off but thats still cool.

I have always LOVED the Muppets. I watched the Muppet Show as a kid, own all the movies, grew up on Sesame Street, Fraggle Rock, and Muppet Babies, and also enjoyed other Henson projects like Labrynth and Dark Crystal.

Ever since Jim died the Muppets haven't been the same. Not as much visiblity, not as humorous, not as likable really. I feel sometimes that they try to make them too current and trendy and what they really are is quirky and have odd-ball personalities.

I really love Muppets 3D at MGM and you can absolutely tell Jim worked on that, it has his magic added to it. The one thing I would have done is make the outside of the attraction better. They only have 2-D cutouts on the building and the fountain. The fountain's figures don't resemble the Muppets too accurately. Wouldn't it have been awesome to have some windows open on the building and have real Muppets hanging out of them, maybe even animated saying things to passer-bys? I have always hoped for more Muppet stuff in the parks and a new ride or a restaurant would make me and so many others very happy. I hope Disney puts some love and attention to the Muppets because they are an entertainment legend.

P.S. - the Bunsen and Beaker Muppet Labs mobile is really really sweet! Getting to see Beaker's legs and feet peddling the machine is so awesome!

Here's hoping to some Muppet Expansion.

I totally agree with this. I really hope whatever they do with the Muppets next goes back to the old personalities we love.
