Just out of curiosity has anyone gone to the Extended queue area of Muppet*Vision Lately? I know due to the Construction of Star Wars Land they walled off the perimiter of the area by the Exit. But, there were 2 openings that are within the extension area...One was a gated fence and looks out towards San Francisco St and the other is a turn around by the Special FX Gen-R8R. Just wondered if they walled it off or Blocked off the Queue...It's a shame to lose this little hidden jem that many guests aren't aware that's there...

Those openings are walled-off, unfortunately.

It's still there as it hugs the side and back half of the building..Just before entering Muppetlabs or if the line starts filling on the outside go directly to your right (Where the Blue Window Shutters Are)

If you see this...Your going the right direction..

It's a very big queue area as you showed in the picture you posted.

It features experiments and Blueprints about Muppetvision 3D while waiting in line from Muppetlabs, Parody Movie Posters

Best thing about it is every where you walk in the queue the Pipes, Poles, Vents are decorated everywhere...The Best one is the Hidden nod to Sesame Streets Ernie & Bert...

I can confirm that this queue was in use in April 2016.

Out of curiosity, does anyone know how often the extended queue is used?
Most of it was used when the Frozen singalong was in the Premier Theater. I believe it was for those with return time cards. It is an interesting area, too bad it's not utilized (although I most likely wouldn't get in line for any 3-D show where the line was outside the building).

Just bumping up this old thread, as I was wondering if there was any update on this. On my trip in August, I was devastated to see this closed off. Does anyone know if this queue even still exists? In this photo posted by bioreconstruct on Twitter, it looks like it was destroyed entirely, but can anyone confirm its status?

I went down the extended queue on my last trip in mid-October to see how the nearby construction affected it. Standard construction walls replaced the wall looking towards Galaxy's Edge with the Muppet Labs "Here to There" experiment posters placed on those instead (at least they weren't removed entirely). The water fountains at the back of the queue had been boxed off even though the "Muppet Labs Water Fountain" signage was still up. Construction wall with a locked door at the back exit portion. The rest of it seemed unchanged

Are you saying that the extended queue is now open to walk through? On my last visit they were closed off all the way at the start, just around the first bend. How far back do they go now?

Yes -- the entire extension was open to walk all the way to the exit that led to the Premiere Theater. I'll be back in DHS next Monday, I'll get a few pics then if you'd like.

You are looking at it at an odd angle..The sad thing is the majority of Exterior props for Muppet*Vision was removed including the Miss Piggy neon sign and you can see that Purple Tank was formally the FX Gen R8-R....I do hope there is plans to return it's Muppet-esque style to the building..

What the Purple tank "Use" To look like..

My Favorite thing in the queue is the Ernie & Bert Pipes high above in the queue area...

And for Anyone who wonders why they painted on all the poles, pipes and other things among the building itself....This IS the reason why...It's called The Muppet Pipes...

meh i think there trying to make the outside more thematically generic to avoid as much clash and allow a better transition. i personally think the area is far better than it ever has been before.
