Muppet Vision 3D - New Projection Effect

There is a new projection mapping effect in the Waldo burst scene in Muppetvision 3D.

Its just like upgrading a house. The more things you upgrade it with the more you improve the quality of the house. Good to disney is taking some small little touches to improve this experience.

I was there a few weeks ago and was pleasantly surprised how good the show looked. The fog effects coming from the screen and from the walls really add a lot and they were missing for a while.

The only negatives were extremely rude park guests during the pre-show and during the show. ( they even made fun of how the CM talked when he made his announcement, very mean. I wanted to apologize to that CM on behalf of humanity).

We saw this yesterday! I noticed all the little Waldo’s and wondered if my brain had just forgotten about them. Glad to see they were a new addition!

Also noticed the fog effect on the side. I don’t remember it from before, but it’s always good when long lost effects are returned.

I don't remember them being projected on the walls before, just the usual 3d effect when Waldo blew up.

I thought so also. They were blurrier, not as sharp or crisp.

Nice to see it's getting some attention but it's time to put it out of it's misery. It's been running for 32 years, and it shows. Time to for a complete refresh, whether it's Muppets related or something entirely new.

That effect was there previously. They have just updated it. Looks nice now.

Look at 7:45 in this video. You can see them on the side walls, but they were fuzzy.

The intent was always there. The method of achieving has been entirely replaced.

Fireworks were working in full order as of today. The bubbles were pumping out at a good rate as well, however they only fell over about 1/3-1/2 of the theater.

They were working as of today.

Also worth noting the “burning rubber” fog effect was MIA again.

Seats are also still in rough shape. Otherwise the show is looking better than it has in at least 10 years or more.

Only just saw it with digital projection and was blown away by how well it holds up. Don't recall seeing the new mapping effect, but there were some others that seemed new or refreshed including some fireworks.
