Muppet Christmas Movie

Well I just finished watching the Muppet Christmas movie on NBC and thought that it was one of the best Muppet Movies since the late Jim Henson made one. I just wish it was on dvd and i could watch it without being cut off by commercials every 8 mins.

Also why does NBC get the Muppet Movie when Disney owns ABC? That makes no sense.

As an aside, my wife just loves the Muppet Christmas Carol.

It does make sense. NBC had an open slot and Disney took advantage. ABC was booked with Pushing Dasies at 8pm last night anyway. NBC and Disney have done this in the past. The Shrek christmas special was on ABC last year, and The Incredibles was on NBC for the last two thanksgiving's.
