Multiple Rides Right Before Park Closing

We were at The Animal Kingdom yesterday (on a gorgeous late fall day). After seeing the 5 pm Festival of the Lion King (that show never gets old) we trekked over to EE for a last ride. Got there at 5:38 (per the FP+ "Official" time). Line was shorter than the advertised 10 minutes so we were back in front by 5:49 and rode again. We decided coming into the station to hustle back and got on at 5:59 for a final ride. They cut the queue after one more party came on behind us. We were on the last train with guests. It was fun to get off with the station empty and even chatted briefly with the unload CM. Anyone else like doing stuff like this? Earlier in the summer we did 7 trips on Kali just before close (I was soaked after the first ride so it didn't matter anymore).

This summer my family rode TOT right after fantasmic. By the time we got off it was 11:59 and the worker at the gate was telling us to get back in line as a joke so we actually did. My group of 6 was the last on TOT that night!!! We had he whole elevator to ourselves and the cast members were going out of character. Definitely one of my favorite moments at the park so far :)

During a trip one February, Fantasyland was dead. We rode Peter Pan with hardly any wait and then Its a Small World 3 times in a row. (our sons then favorite) We could have kept walking right on though. Another night it was Toy Story. Awesome!

At night at MK we once went back and forth from BTMRR and Space. That went on for about an hour, my dad got very annoyed. We also were on the last Spaceship of the night on Space Mountain. It brick down a couple ships before ours, but they let us wait, so we didn't leave the park until an hour after closing. That walk down Main Street was amazing.

We've done stuff like this a number of times. We rode Kali 7 times in a row one Morning! After the 2nd ride, they just let us ride through without even getting off the vehicle. After 7, we were kind of tired and very water-logged and the crowd was beginning to build so I don't know if we could have done 8.

Have done the same thing at Splash Mountain. Have ridden through near park closing 3 times without getting off.

Our all-time record is 13 on Splash Mountain. That was all we did one night during the old extended hours program before Extra Magic Hours. (?? can't remember name, pay $10, get a wristband and stay 3 hours). That particular occasion, we mostly did get out and go around and get back in line.

Woah! Thats a ton. Splash Mountain is a long ride to go on so many times in row. Sounds awesome!

Almost did this with Space Mountain two years ago. My friend and I had a FASTPASS that we couldn't use all day because the ride was down. Suddenly it went back up a few minutes before closing. So we rushed on and redeemed out FP (d'oh!). Big mistake because by the time we got off, the park and the standby line were closed.

25 years ago we made the last possible dinner reservation at the castle, ate slowly, had dessert, then coffee, and meandered out long after closing, followed at a distance by security. We thought we were being clever, closing down the Magic Kingdom, until we hit Main Street and there were still guests milling around. Darn. :)

I alway's find that the casual stroll through an almost empty park is my favorite. I guess riding a ride would take up enough time to allow everyone out of the park. I think normally we don't time it so perfectly... or at least we don't realize it. I remember on my last trip... it was great leaving MK after riding 7DMT and enjoying the stroll through the Halloween decorated Mainstreet

I think it's really nice of the cast members to let people ride a few times after park closing. Hats off to them. When I worked retail, I was not so kind at closing time.

Way back when the week before Christmas (around the 18th of December) was still the calm before the storm and the parks were almost empty every night, my family and I would close down Magic Kingdom regularly. We've ridden Splash Mountain 8 times in a row (they wouldn't let us stay in the log, had to get out and walk around every time) and walked out of an empty park several times. The last couple of times we went back at the same time of year, it has always been packed out every day of our trip. :( Going back in October 2016 so hopefully the crowds won't be so bad then! We've done the same thing at Universal during our last trip. We stayed in the WWOHP until the park closed and rode the Dragon's Challenge many times in a row before they made us leave. Love times like that!!

We do this on a regular basis. One time, my friend and I did Everest five times in a row. Another time, we did Space Mountain several times in a row. Benefit of being a night owl; you're there for the short lines at night a lot. We also do those rides that are hard to get FPs for or have consistently long lines at night. We tend to do Soarin' and TSM a lot right before the park closes.
