So, is that the excuse? Because this isn't exactly a cutting edge $300 million attraction that's never been done before.

That reminds me,does anyone know if the ride in California suffered from the same problems?

software package running show control for mermaid in WDW is completely different than the one in California.. Not sure why the wheel was re-invented, but I'm sure there is a good reason for it.
