If you have points at multiple home resorts can you use all the points at the eleven month booking window or do you have to wait until the seven month booking window?

I don't think so. I guess you can either book at both resorts 11 months out then switch to one resort at the 7 month window, OR maybe book at the resort of choice for this trip, and pay a deposit for any additional days you intend to stay, then switch it out to points 7 months out. I'm sure DVC Mike or someone else will be able to elaborate further, and sorry in advance if I'm wrong about anything.

You can only book as much as your home points allow at the 11 month window.

So if you have 150 points at Saratoga Springs and added 50 points at Animal Kingdom, you could book 50 points worth at AK at the 11 month and hope to add to it with the remaining points at the 7 month. This would, however, be booked as two separate trips and thus you could have two nights using your AK points, and then have to change rooms for the rest of your trip booked with your SS points.

My guide suggested that you add points on to your existing home resort if possible, unless you are adding enough points to book an entire trip at the other resort; you're going to be subject to the 7 month booking window at other resorts anyway otherwise, so you might as well have lots to spend at your home when you want to go there...

Thanks for the replies, I figured you could only use the points for that resort but I was being hopeful. I have points at AKV and will just add more there.
