Yes, when I was there this March, they had them for sale at the Port Orleans French Quarter food court ..... I have no idea if they are as good as New Orleans Central Grocery's muffaletta BECAUSE .....

when we went to NOLA for Mardi Gras 2 years ago, we hiked all the way across town to the Central Grocery JUST to get a muffaletta... stood in a long line and 30 minutes (and $10) later I had my muffaletta in a bag. We were headed back to the hotel but we had to run across the street as the light was changing. The bottom fell right out of the bottom of my bag!!!! I looked back just in time to hear "SPLAT!!!" and a big garbage truck ran right over my muffaletta!!! ... my precious muffaletta was gone in an instant ...

So I was able to get one at WDW in March ... but something tells me it might not be the same ..... :(

Mmmmmm, yum yum !!
Now yall done gone talkin' my language !
If there's any place in the world I might love more than WDW it would be New Awlins.
My wife's family is from Gulfport, MS a good 6 hour drive from Atlanta area where we live. We're able to visit frequently and take side trips over to the French Quarters when were in Gulfport.
The food in New Awlins is without peer ! Just across from the French market is one of my favorite restaurants. Frank's at 933 Decatur St. has the best Muffalata's in the whole world, and you'd love his barbequed shrimp. Oyster PoBoys, Etouffee, Jambalaya, Red Beans and Rice, mmm he's got it all. The sandwich is huge. Order a whole one and you'll bust your gut.
Save a little room for a dessert across the street at Cafe du Monde ( 800
Decatur St. ) for beignets and a carton of ice cold milk http://www.cafedumonde.com/beignet.html

Dang, just thinking of it I might have to add a day to my next WDW trip for a swing out of the way to N.0. for some really good food. Always worth the trip !!

:p

I have never heard of this before, but I am intrigued. Can't even said I have ever had Olive Salad, but I will be taking a trip over to Port Orleans and see if they are still selling them. I know it will not be the same as the original from New Orleans itself, but will give me a taste.
