In my 2000s heyday, they would run SpectroMagic twice every night, from MSUSA to FL at 9:00 I think, 10:00 Wishes, and then an 11pm SpectroMagic back from FL to MSUSA. I would testify to that...it definitely did that for a few years in the 2000s!
That was a frequent occurrence during peak weeks. In winter, it would sometimes be the light parade at 8 and 10 pm or I even remember 7 and 9 pm parades with Fantasy in the Sky and, later, Wishes at 8 pm. And it was one direction the first showing, then the other.

With the Halloween parties starting up again, probably in June (jk.....I hope). We'll have plenty of opportunities for nighttime magic....provided you've paid extra for it.
They need to get those tickets on sale ASAP so they can sell out! Influencers have already bought special eye shadow and purple press-on nails for their “oh my God, guyssss…we’re here! Happy HalloweeEeEeeen!” live stream on August 9…

They should have social media influencer night. They're charged 5X as much, then are locked inside the Magic Kingdom and all have to all fight to the death for the single coveted commemorative cupcake.

May the likes and subscribes be in their favor.

I thought when they ran two a night, it would go Frontier to Main St the first one, then Main St to Frontier the second. That way, those watching the second showing along the route would be able to clear out after it passes without having the walk past the parade that is ongoing with people watching it.

I think it went from MS-->Frontier land because then people could fill in the hub and MS for fireworks so there's more time to manage people before fireworks. I could be completely off base though.

I suppose that makes sense. Feels like logistically, the best idea would just be to run it from Main St to Frontierland twice. At MK, they could do that if they wanted unlike DL where there is no connection between Main Street and backstage and so if they run a parade twice they have to go opposite directions.

I heard the reason tickets haven't gone on sale yet is that there is still a lot of internal debate as to ticket pricing. There is a significant fear of being accused of "nickel and diming" guests, since Bob said (after he so graciously and reluctantly came back as CEO) he's aware of that being a concern and he wants to be seen as the benevolent and caring emperor he believes he is. So to avoid that, some in management want $259/night as the starting point, but others want $299/night as the low point. I heard the meetings on this are pretty contentious right now.

I don’t remember Spectro ever going the reverse route, but I wasn’t there much during its early days so maybe it did.

These 5 hour events are about to cost twice as much as a full day park ticket which is just insane.
Think of a family of lets say 4 x $275 = $1,100

It's even more amazing when some buy the tickets to it and then book table service (1hr+) dining reservations during it too

Let’s hope they do not try and stick a light parade and a new or old, like Wishes, firework show behind a paywall. They know as well as we do event nights like that would sell out and they would make bank.

I was coming down at the end of August and planning to go to MNSSHP with my son. If they try to sell that for $250 or more, count me out. I pay for all the stupid upcharges and special events, but everybody has a limit. Getting to $200 last year is as far as this should go.

Yeah $150 increase for the cheapest nights is a stretch.

$109 becomes $119 or $129.
$199 becomes $209 or $219.

Long gone are the days where you could have a better time with less people and still do it for under $100.

Why are you guys ruining my fun?? As punishment, now it's going to be $329 on the low end, $399 on Halloween!!

(Of course, we all know it will just be some more nickel and diming, meaning $119 on the low end and $219 on the upper end. "Due to popularity and guest demand".)
