I am surprised Paris is not keeping the Electrical Sky Parade long term. Any reason behind this? Not as popular as they had thought? To many fans want the actual Electrical Parade? Hahaha.

It was only supposed to last until September 30, 2024 as part of Symphony of Colors. The fact that they are extending it to January 2025 shows that it is more popular than they had expected it to be

Gotcha. I just thought since it’s difficult for DLP to have a light parade this would have been the long term answer.

Do you know if anything is actually happening or in motion or is this just another DOA Wild Goose Chase we go through every year??????
I don’t actually know anything, I’ll be very upfront about that.

But I’d be willing to bet that MSEP (the original version that is sitting at Disneyland) is not returning to Walt Disney World.

If Disney wanted to build a brand new MSEP successor, that is possible. But the 1977 version can not make another cross country trip. And I don’t think the powers that be would allow it to happen either way

Do you think or know if Disneyland still has the PTN floats? Some say yes, some say they hit the dumpster.

How reliable is that info re a cross country trip? I feel like that is an excuse to cover Disney that has been repeated so much that it is now accepted as true.

It’s accepted as true because many of us on here saw the damage that MSEP incurred upon its final return to Disneyland many years ago. That could also be in part due to the poor condition that TDO gave it to them in. I don’t think that Disney will ship MSEP back to WDW, either way.

1 Float was lost when it came back to DL in 2017. Must of happened in transit because that did work in MK in Oct 2016..
