Has anyone seen this?

Stars Terry Jones and Eric Idle...with brief cameos by John Cleese and Michael Palin.

I haven't had the opportunity to see it...but was just wondering if any of you have...and if so...what did you think of it?

I was seriously just about to come this forum to make a thread about this movie..

I was thinking about buying it...but I am not so sure. Has anyone seen it? Is it worth to buy?

I just want to buy it cause of Mr. Toad's Wild Ride at Disney.

Thoughts?

I can't say how good the film is as I've not seen it, but I think it got good reviews when it was released. However it's not a "based on the Disney ride" movie. It's based on the book that inspired the Disney animated story that was in turn the basis of the ride.

yea I know it's not about the ride, but about the book/movie "Wind in the Willows"

I was just wondering if it were good or not..

I've heard reviews saying that the movie was pretty decent...and funny...but if you're looking for Monty Python humor because of the cast...you'll be disappointed.

Watched it on DVD the other night. It was very funny and though not a python movie it was a bit twisted. All the acting is good and Eric Idle is wonderful as Rat. John Cleese has a very funny scene and Terry Jones is well.. a bit over the top as Toad. The only unsettling thing was I kept thinking of him as the Catholic woman in The Meaning of Life because his voice for Toad was almost identical. Don't know iId buy it, ,but my whole family enjoyed watching it.

Well if you bought Reign of Fire.....I suppose you would have to buy this! I don't buy many, I'm strictly a Netflix gal.
