Mr toad, leaving? Or staying?

Topic has shifted from one obscure-ish thing that exists as a Disney theme park ride to another. I'm just going to say it. I had TRON on VHS when I was a kid. It was more boring than Algebra 2 and it still is. When TRON: Legacy came out (a sequel no one saw coming), everyone suddenly pretended like they were fans of TRON. Huh? Had most of them even seen it before they'd heard of the sequel? The sequel was boring too, but slightly more entertaining.

This roller coaster looks neat for a few seconds, then it goes outside like they cheaped out on constructing the rest of the building and it's no longer a TRON ride. Huh? Now, that TRON tunnel that used to be on the PeopleMover, from what I've seen and heard, was ultra charming.

TBH I've never seen either Tron in its entirety. Only bits and pieces of both one time each. I don't think the source material has anything to do with why the ride looks like fun. It looks sleek, futuristic, aesthetically pleasing and very repeatable.

Return to Oz is also on the list of Disney films that bombed with an inexplicable following. According to The Googles it only made $11 million at the domestic box office.

Does Disney still own the movie rights to the Oz books?

EDIT: I forgot about this:

Anyone here seen it? Is it worth watching?

I was a little young to see it in theatres but I definitely made my mom donate at least $100 to The Wherehouse in the late 80's renting it over and over.

Why didn't she just buy it for me?

Tron is one of my all time favorite movies. I always wanted to own an arcade like Flynn's. It was a fun and inventive movie. Heck, I even have a full size Tron poster in my cube at work along with an 80' popcorn machine. I'm even building an MAME arcade machine with a Tron theme.

My grandma took me to see Return to Oz when it came out and I FREAKED out. I started getting nervous when the doctor was explaining the electro shock machine, I cried through the storm, and was having a full blown melt down by the time the wheelers showed up and had to be taken out of the theater. I still really wanted to watch it though so I calmed down told my grandma I was ready to go back in and saw all the heads in the cabinets and had to go home. I finally watched it when I got older and I loved it. In fact I asked my mom for it for Christmas last year. It's such a weird awesome movie. I wold love a Return to Oz ride.

A Tron themed lounge recently opened in SF. It's connected to a video gaming bar. Yes, they have the Tron arcade game and I've played it. ;)
