Hi All.

I was cleaning up my ds's Mr. Potato Heads pieces and was wondering what other people keep theirs or their kids' pieces in? Does Disney sell a container for all the parts?

Currently, all of the small pieces are in a Buzz Lightyear Lunchbox. The big pieces and his two Mr. Potato Heads are in a white gift box. I couldn't find anything else at the moment.

I don't have a container from Disney, but at my local target they have potato heads in a clear plastic circular container and it fits most of the disney stuff along with the potato heads. Now, I might look into a square clear container as my son will probably be wanting a potato head soon too. That way all the stuff can be in one container and it will be easy to clean up.
Don't know that Disney makes a container to fit everything in....I've yet to see one

Don't laugh.....I always save the clear bags with the zippers that many items (linens, curtain sheers etc) come in....that's what I have my Mr. PH parts in....we have 2 since we have so many parts (2 kids)!

Hey, I'm "frugal"..........

I keep my sons in a clear rubbermaid container (slightly larger than a shoe box size). I have gone to storeing all his loose toys in those. So much neater.

Ditto to what MagicalMemories does. I go one step further and get out my label machine and label the containers. Potato Head, Polly, Little Pony, etc.

I have mine in a decorated photobox. This way it can stay on my bookshelf without looking like a bunch of random parts. I think it's prettier than a rubbermaid container.

DD(13) keeps her Mr. Potato Head on top of the fridge with all its Disney parts in a wire basket next to Mr. PH. As was discussed in a prior Potato Head thread, the war between DS(19) and DD continues!! When he comes home on weekends from college he waits until just before he leaves Sunday night to rearrange the parts (Mickey ice cream out of the top of head, red Mickey balloon out of ear, etc.). DD usually doesn't see it until Monday morning and patiently puts every thing back in its proper place. Brothers!! Gotta luv 'em! I wish WDW did sell a container. We would surely HAVE to buy it during our Easter trip.

Thanks for replying to all of you potato head lovers.

I think I will look for a colorful rubbermaid container for his room.

Hopefully in the future, Disney will come out with a container for all their pieces.

Ours stays out all the time on the shelves in our living room. The pieces we don't have on him we keep in the box that we filled in Disney! (It's my mom's potato head, i bought it for her birthday. That's probably why the box has survived so long)

That is not possible here. Our pieces have outgrown the original box from Disney. We plan on purchasing more pieces this November as this is one of my ds's favorite toys!!!

If you buy a Mr. Potato Head in Disney, you can take it home in a special Mr. Potato Head Disney box, and I guess you could keep your spare parts in there. :)
