Moving IaSW to Epcot?

You already have the around the World experience with World Showcase, having a separate boat ride in the park that also does this is completely redundant.

Thinking small world belongs in epcot is like thinking zootopia belongs in animal kingdom.
"world and world"
"zoo in a zoo"
Huh? The message of IASW of world harmony and experiencing other cultures fits perfectly with WS. It was, after all, originally a World’s Fair pavilion.

If anything, its location in a medieval European themed Fantasyland is what doesn’t make sense.

Experiencing other cultures through its a small world? It's a small world makes the African outpost look like the UN.

Forget ROI or that its too expensive to make it a good decision. But it fits better in the MK, There are still people who go to disney world and only go to the castle park. It is also the most kid friendly park. When you think of going to disney world, most are thinking MK. Can you imagine going to MK and not having its a small world? Or disneyland and it not being there.

I understand the arguments for COP (although once again ROI, and not worth the move), as many who have little kids or have dreamed of a "disney world/MK" trip even know COP is there or will experience it. But its a small world is expected to be in the castle park.

Never, partly because the song itself is associated with Disneyland/Magic Kingdom. Not everything in a theme park has to logically belong in an area as long as it works. IaSW is part of what the Disney Fantasyland is famous for. It’s one of the reasons families return to MK and DL. That legacy is worth far more, artistically and business-wise, than any amount of thematic logic.

Flame away but would you all be ok if they moved Its a Small World to Epcot to the World Showcase Building area and gave it a DL like aesthetic? Then used the MK plot for something that fits the fantasyland theme better like a tangled boat ride?
Actually that makes a lot of sense at Epcot.

There is room to move it to a new location within the updated Fantasyland. Perhaps near the tents and Dumbo. That would allow it to have the updated facade of the DL attraction (used at most other DL parks). It should never leave the Magic Kingdom, though. It belongs there.
