I missed It´s a Wonderful Life...! I think I was the only one! Shame on me...I know....

The parent trap was one of my mom´s favorite so she made us see it and I loved it! I refuse to see remakes of the classic ones.

Braveheart is great! Specially b/c of Mel Gibson!! hehe.... I really like seeing all those superproductions! :)

Great choice Tink. Jack Lemon and Tony Curtis have never been better. A movie before it's time, I think.

Nice work putting your list in alphabetical order BTW. :D

Tink, have you by any chance ever seen the Broadway musical for Sunset Blvd? I've never seen the original movie but I have seen the Broadway version. Are they anything close to each other?

I never saw the Broadway version. I remember when it was around - Glenn Close was in it, right? I imagine the storyline is similar, though I can't imagine that it could be as good. The movie is filmed in black and white which really adds to the mood. William Holden and Gloria Swanson are incredible. One of the best aspects of the film is that it uses actual Swanson silent movies. Is the musical narrated by Joe? What was the opening scene of the musical? The film is clever too because it actually draws on old Hollywood with appearances by Cecil B. DeMille, Erich Von Stroheim, Buster Keaton, Hedda Hopper... I don't think the musical could replace that. Did you like the musical version?

P.S. I forgot to put The Wizard of Oz on my list! :sohappy:

I can watch that movie anytime. Lemmon and Curtis were at the top of their games - so was Marilyn, for that matter. Billy Wilder is a genius.

Do you want to hear something sad? I did that subconsciously - I really don't remember putting them in alpha order - but I did! :veryconfu
