Movies you wish had a sequel

Easy for me... there were a number of big budget spectacles designed as "Franchise starters" that I quite enjoyed, but it seems not enough others did, as they underperformed and the franchises were stillborn. Almost all of the movies below left audiences hanging with a scene/dialogue that indicated forthcoming stories.

The Lone Ranger (Verbinsky)

Master & Commander (Peter Wier)

The Adventures of Tintin (Spielberg)

Solo: A Star Wars Story

Prince of Persia

King Arthur: Legend of the Sword (Guy Richie)

Sky Captain & the World of Tomorrow

Tron: Legacy

The Three Musketeers (Paul Anderson)

I'm over here waiting on Kingsman 3. The first one was amazing and the second was great. I really hope they make a third but leave Channing Tatum on the curb.

I think the ones I would want would either be horribly done, or already have been. “Don’t mess with perfection.”

The Wizard of Oz
Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory
Watership Down
What Dreams May Come (they were getting reincarnated, anyway.)
E.T.
Anything that would bring Gene Kelly & Judy Garland back from the dead.
