Movies on iTunes?

Hi all :wave:

Weird question but I figured maybe some people here would know.

So we're looking to download some movies for iTunes for the plane ride on our upcoming trip and Old School is one of them we'd like to have, but for some reason it is not available. It's a pretty popular movie with popular actors, but it's not there.

Is this due to licensing or copyright?
Why are some movies you'd think would be there are not?

You know I don't know, but I have noticed that a lot of fairly popular films aren't on iTunes...disappointing. I guess I am to spoiled lol I want those movies when I want them!

You can't buy music by the Beatles on iTunes either.....isn't a matter of popularity but a matter of rights. Sorry to hear about your issue though, did you look at Amazon? I've never used it but I know they offer similar downloads.

Snow White is one of those not available. I wanted to download it from iTunes when it came out and I was fairly disappointed when I couldn't.

Hmm Sorry it wasn't available...and unless I'm looking incorrectly, there seems to be many Disney movies unavailable. We we thinking of downloading a Disney movie or two as well, so we'll have to re-check what is available.

I just figured that Snow White was such a classic movie that Disney wanted people to buy the disc. I don't know. I didn't want to buy the hard copy simply because I have it from the last time it was released.
