I am not sure where to ask this question but here goes....

Does anyone think that Disney would make a cartoon movie of Giselle (from enchanted)?

Just pondering this thought...the cartoon part of the movie looked so cute to:D

I don't know. I haven't seen Enchanted yet so I'm not sure how she compares to the other princesses. I'm sure she'll be in one of those sing-a-long video things soon.

I guess if they wanted to do a prequel (keep in mind I have not seen Enchanted yet) doesn't the movie start out as a cartoon

Definitely! Although I would imagine it would be in the form of a Saturday morning cartoon, and/or a direct to dvd movie.

Just got done watching the Blu-Ray of the movie.

It starts off animated and the evil Queen takes Giselle to a well then pushes her into it. She goes from her animated world to our real world of NYC.

I'll stop there. I do recommend getting the movie and if you have a form of a Blu-Ray player buy it on it. They have a trivia game during the movie about the Disney Princesses with the little references to them during the movie itself.

And this has to do with the OP's question how exactly?

I think it would be hard to do a cartoon of the movie since the premise of the movie is that Giselle leaves the cartoon world and comes to the "real world". I guess they could do a prequel like another poster suggested, but I think that might be kind of boring....not sure what kind of storyline they could have that would make it interesting.
Or they could do a sequel where Giselle and Robert somehow go to the cartoon world....but they would have to start off and probably end up back in the real world, so not sure how that would work either.

I love Giselle. She is a great princess even though she's technically....I will stop there for those who havent seen Enchanted. If you havent seen Enchanted you have got to watch it. I love it.

I would just end it were it ended and let it not be ruined by a direct to home movie.

Fortunately, I believe John Lasetter has proclaimed that the direct-to-DVD "films" are no longer to be made. A few more are coming out because they were already in the works when the edict was made - the "Little Mermaid" prequel, "Tinker Bell," etc. - but I hope by next year we won't be seeing such lower quality prequels and sequels anymore...unless they play in the theaters first!
Of course, I don't recall him saying anything about lame afternoon/Saturday cartoons. Gulp...

Plus The animated sequence was not done by Disney Animation but James Baxter Animation...http://jamesbaxteranimation.com/assets03/recent/recent.html..

This was also mentioned On Wikipedia's site about Giselle and why she's not with the other princesses.

"Giselle from Disney's film Enchanted was originally going to be added to the line until the company realized it would have to pay the actress, Amy Adams, royalties."

But this seems rather strange since they used a Look-a-like for the Parades...

Well, I guess will have to see the fate of the 3 upcoming princesses in the next few years...Rapunzel, Princess Tiana (The Princess & The Frog), and the Unamed Scottish princess from Pixar..

I could see them doing a movie about here having to go back to help Pip or even them all going back because she is having some kind of trouble that can only be changed in the toon world
