Just went to the warehouse of MouseSurplus. What a great place for Disney items. It is just a block off the Beachline (528) near Orlando Airport.
Anybody ever hear of it?

I stopped by after a trip to Disney last year. Difficult to find what you are looking for, but really an awesome place for Disney park fans. It was like looking through a basement where imagineers throw all there stuff!:xmas:

I picked up 2 pieces of artwork that must have come from the Australian giftshop during the Food and Wine Festival. They were marked 25 dollars each and I got them for 50 cents each. They had a lot of good deals. It was a bit dusty just like lwalker8 said, a basement.

I've been there a few times, bought a few things from them. I almost got a job with them

I did see a lot of bedding. Next time I go I will look a little closer at it.
I don't know, there's something kinda weird about buying old hotel bedding.:hurl:

Sleeping on it for a few nights is somehow different :veryconfu than sleeping on it every night in your house.

Maybe, it's just me?

Think of it this way: the last time you were in a hotel did you ever see houskeeping change out a bedspread when they changed the sheets?
Buying a bedspread or any bedding and washing it at home no matter how old it is has to be cleaner that what you find at a hotel.

I am far from a germaphobe .... but ....

The FIRST Thing I EVER do when I get in a hotel room is REMOVE the comforter and PUT IT IN THE CLOSET or as far away from me as possible... then I check the mattress/bedding as good as I can to make sure there are no critters....

I remember a legal case from a few years back about a rapist who was convicted because the prosecution went back to the motel like 6 months later and was able to recover the dna because the bedspread had not been washed since the time of the crime ..... ew  .... been grossed out by hotel bedspreads ever since!!!

There are two things in a hotel room that are absolutely disgusting and germ-ridden. One is the bedspread. NEVER, and I mean NEVER sleep on that. Not only do people have all kinds of sexual experiences on them, but think about other things that people do on them. A lot of people will take their rolling suitcase and plop it down on top of the bedspread to unpack. This is the same rolling suitcase that they probably rolled into the restroom with them at the airport. Absolutely nauseating to think about.

The other thing that a lot of people forget about is the remote control. I literally bring a little bottle of rubbing alcohol with me when I travel, and I always disinfect the remote control. Because this is a family site, I won't go into detail on why the remote control is something you should be disgusted by. But just think about the types of movies that people can sometimes order in hotel rooms and think about how people are touching the remote control before and after they are touching "other things". And believe me, the maids don't clean the remote control. :hurl: :hurl:

I was just having this conversation with friends! Can anyone confirm that is true? I can understand not changing the bedspread everyday but I hope they change it between guests. That would be extremly disgusting and unsanitary. :hurl:

But on the real topic at hand, I went to the site mousesurplus for the first time yesterday and bid on something on Ebay, I hope I win!
