Every trip that I have booked with the Disney Visa discount, the CM at either the WD Travel Co. or Central Res. has told me to tell my clients that they must pay for the trip with the Disney Visa card. They must pay the deposit when it is booked with the card also.

This doesn't surprise me that we all have gotten different answers. There are a lot of new people at CR. So who knows!?

Re: what is an AP rate?

Hi ... is an Ap rate, annual passholders? I leave 1500 miles away , too far for that one to work out..

Yes, it is the Annual Passholder rate, but that is only too far if you do not plan to go to WDW twice within a year, or if you go for several days in a row. If one member of your party buys an annual pass, the pass often pays for itself in the usual 35-40% hotel discounts when you stay at a deluxe or home-away-from-home resort. For example, the Fort Wilderness cabins are usually $269 per night, but AP rate is about $169, and sometimes less. Four nights of $100 savings more than pays for an AP. And, considering that you were likely to pay about $200 for a four-or-five day park-hopper, then the difference of about $180 is paid for in just two nights (or four in the case of a moderate).

Then, you can come back next year, before 365 days from the date of first use, and not have to pay admission.... and get the hotel discounts again!

I haven't heard of the new AP discounts yet, but I do have info on the Summer Dream maker that is available to anyone and the room only discounts that will be available at that time also. See my post on Park news and rumors.

I was told by the CM that I had to pay for the whole room charge on my Disney Visa, all 3 rooms had to be on the Disney Visa to get the discount. Not just the deposit. So you might want to call back and ask just to be safe, if your not wanting to put it all on your card.

ok here is what I was told

the florida residents deal has to be paid entirely with the Disney Visa

the regular room only one only has to have the deposit and you can pay cash when you get there

I decided to go Florida residents way anyways because I saved over 100 dollars including tax even though it has to go on the Disney Visa
