- What motivated you to visit Walt Disney World?
My husband started collecting Disney memorabilia around 1980-81 -- watches, Christmas plates, ornaments and statues. Ironically we both took our first trip there in '81 (we met in '83). I am a theme park junkie, but nothing compares to WDW.
- Why did you chose to visit Walt Disney World in particular, rather than Disneyland or Disneyland Resort Paris?
I had gone to DL first in '76 and '77 while visiting relatives in California who had come east in '65 to the NY World's Fair. They told me, a young 8 year old girl how great DL was and I promised them when I grew up and got my first job, I'd be there.
- Why did you chose to go to a Disney park, rather than a different theme park group? (Merlin/Universal ect).
It's so massive with so much to do and I love the Disney characters and movies.
- Do you think Disney caters for an adult demographic? How?
Yes, there was Pleasure Island at one time and now some restaurants are more classier and would cater to adults. It's sad that PI didn't work out. Sadly, we never did get there in all our trips. There is also golf and other more adult activities.
