I still think that the Mother's should do something for their kids on this day...because, after all, would they have a holiday if it weren't for them? :lookaroun

I bought my mother the Snow White birdbath for her new garden area.

My sister and I will take her out to dinner and then we'll go home and let her make us dessert :lookaroun :slurp:

My mom's on a diet, so rather than sabotage her efforts with food-type gifts, I'm going to get her a gift certificate to a spa. My mother in law, who is NOT on a diet, is getting a coconut cake, made by me. :D (Her favorite kind of cake!)

Lost my mom 14 years ago. :( My MIL (who treats me like a daughter) won't be around either.
Maybe my kids will give me what I want this year....for them to stop fighting all the time, but I won't hold my breath.

My mom wants a new washing machine. Which is actually refreshing since she usually just wants us kids to hand over cash for her to go gambling with at the Indian casino. My mother is definitely the old fashioned sentimental type.

Bought my Mom Season One of ______ and the City in order to complete her collection. She loves the show and didn't start watching until the last two seasons.

And WDWFREAK - I'm with you (not)....we should celebrate the kids on Mother's Day and celebrate Moms on the kids birthdays. Afterall, they didn't hatch from an egg.:hammer: Spoken like a true man.:animwink:

But if I made you a Pistachio one I'd have to come to "you know where" to deliver it. (and we all know what happens to Yankee fans there. )

Oh yeah...hmmm...we don't want any Yankees fans up here...

But...maybe I could sneak you in for a pistachio cake! :slurp:

(I'll FedEx you a Nomar Jersey and a Red Sox hat)

Now you have free entrance to Boston :D

Is your sister's name Tiffany? Or Prada? :lookaroun (just messing with you)

But...but...the whole "birthday thing"...see...the children brought the mother the gift of "THEM" when they came...now it's time to give them something back :lookaroun
