Mother's Day Weekend 2010

We were at Animal Kingdom on Mother's Day last year. Crowds were manageable. As we were waiting for them to open the gates, CMs walked around handing out carnations to mothers. It was a nice little perk, and me being me, I wanted that little keepsake, so I had to keep up with it all day. I don't know how the other parks were, but AK was fine.

When it gets closer (about a month out), you can see the Crowd Calendar over at touringplans.com, which has their predictions on what the crowd levels will be like for that time. It's not an exact science, so there is no guarantee, but it should at least give you a general idea of what to expect.

Enjoy your trip!

Miss Jones

Miss Jones had been giving her second-grade students a lesson on science. She had explained about magnets and showed how they would pick up nails and other bits of iron.Rolex ExplorerRolex GMTRolex Masterpiece Now it was question time, and she asked, "My name begins with the letter 'M' and I pick up things. What am I?" Little Johnny in the front row proudly said, "You're a mother!"

I just love being in Disney on Mothers day... The 2 years that we were there cast members handed out flowers at the park enterances to all the moms! Crowd wise wasn't too bad... Definitely manageable. But know you won't be walking right onto rides thou.
