Hi everyone, I guess this is a good place to introduce myself. I'm Allyson and I'm an overly enthusiastic Disney lover! I've been 6 times now I believe. My mom and I just took a mother daughter trip almost two weeks ago and I wanted to share our experience if that's OK.
We stayed at Art of Animation in The Little Mermaid section. I really loved the hotel. I did not like how far away The Little Mermaid area was but we got used to it. Every detail was incredible. This is a truly Disney hotel. I wish I had explored more sections.
We used Fastpass + which I was nervous about because of all the negativity I've heard. But it worked so well! I figured out that you can get on the rides about 5 minutes before your time. We hardly had to wait in line for anything. I got to do all my favorite rides in the parks thanks to it. I got to ride Toy Story Mania for the first time and I beat my mom! That would not have been possible if it weren't for Fastpass + The only thing was we did an Epcot/Animal Kingdom park hop and I didn't get to make any Faspasses in Epcot. I wish it was a little more flexible for park hopping. But I can't complain too much because I still went on everything I wanted to!
And we had dinner at Be Our Guest on our last night. This place... everything was incredible. The details of the restaurant were out of this world. I couldn't stop looking around. And the food was delicious. I had the strip steak and it was the best steak I have ever had. I am a steak lover so I'm pretty picky about how its prepared. And I had the grey stuff for dessert and it truly was delicious!
Now I'm sad because its over. I'm trying so hard to get into the College Program! I'm willing to go all the way to California to work if they take me!
