Heck no!!! My little brother just came home from a vacation to Gettysburg PA and brought me all the soap and shampoo from the hotel because he thinks I collect them because I always bring home the stuff from Disney!

Nope, I have a Tupperware container that is full of the soap and everything else in the room (used for cleaning). I also have two towels on my dresser, one is an owl and the other a peacock. I got them from my last two trips to WDW while staying at POR. I've always loved the room service and maids, I even make sure to find the one that cleans my room and personally thank her. She showed me how she made them and it's truly magical, she even uses stickers for spots on the peacock as well as the eyes on both of them. She even took the time to cut them in half so that they made the eyes. I've never stayed at a resort that did anything in my room like that. So I've got both of those.

Also, during the 100 Years of Magic, I was looking in the phone book for a friend's address and realized it was just businesses in the area in the book. But on the cover was a thing for the 100 YoM. I had to take it home, even though my mother told me not to, I did it without her knowing. I put it in my carry-on bag and it hurt my neck so bad because the thing was so heavy. Oh well, the pain was well worth it.

Scott.. I took a picture of what housekeeping did in our room. We stayed @ All Star Movies and we came back from the parks and they had make a little thingy to hold the toothbrushes and arranged the soap that Mickey was standing up (which isnt in the pic). I had to have a pic.. I attached the link so ya'all can look!!

You took a phone book!?!
I never stay at the hotels so I don't get to take the soaps. I thought I was bad with park maps.

My best sourvenir was when my best friend flew to FL and surprised me on one of my last days of my CP. The pictures of him and I are so precious to me...especially the one of us on SM because we had always talked about going on that together.

one year when i was little, I got a meeko stuffed animal from one of the parks at disney. the next day when we got back to the hotel room, the maid had taken my meeko and put him on the toilet, toilet paper in hand reading the paper! it was so cute.

I took home a broken nail from when my niece slammed her butt down on my hand as we were getting onto TT  Darn thing bled too

Most unique thing I have is something I didnt even KNOW I had untill a few months ago. I was cleaning out the top shelf of a closet and came across an old WDW brochure from 1976...stuck between the pages of my Birnbaums from 1986! I kept both :) I also still have the price sticker from a stuffed bear I got ages ago in a store next to CBJ that was called Bear Country or something. Its not there anymore though :( Loved the bear...hes had WDW embroidered on his foot :) I tend to keep all the ephemera that I gather while Im down there...have alot of 'unique' items that will someday be stuck into the scrapbook that I started 3 years ago

That is the greatest thing I've ever heard. I would have loved to see that.

If anyone has extra soaps that they aren't using, I read about this lady named Dottie who takes them and makes up little Disney themed gift bags for sick kids in the hospital. She calls it Mickey's S(ave) O(ur) S(oaps). If you want to send her any stragglers, you can send them to her here:

Mickey S.O.S. for Children Project
c/o Dottie Saroufim
PO Box 17
W Roxbury, MA 02132-0001

(EDIT: SOS stands for Soap Or Shampoo - did some more research on it)

Rob's not having very good luck with the illness factor in the parks. Make sure you report them to the board of health so they get their act together before I arrive in 3 weeks!! :D
