It really is a great film…I’d like for them to “modernize/clean it up”…but I don’t want them touching any of the footage. It’s kinda like a timeless James Bond scenery movieImpression de France is so perfect that when I visited some of the actual locations, my memory immediately triggered the corresponding classical music cues from the film.
I can deal with the late 70s-early 80s clothing and hair styles in the film. Everything else is so timeless that I don't want them to even consider touching it.It really is a great film…I’d like for them to “modernize/clean it up”…but I don’t want them touching any of the footage. I’m a bit of a Francophile too…most amazing country on earth other than the one I USED to live in.
Anyone not willing to see it is missing out
I never spoke French…but I do have a little broken Deutsch in meI can deal with the late 70s-early 80s clothing and hair styles in the film. Everything else is so timeless that I don't want them to even consider touching it.
As my name implies, I'm more of a Germanophile, but I wouldn't ever pass up the chance to visit France again. I'll just make sure I never order an andouillette ever again, which easily counts as the single most revolting food item I've eaten in Europe... and I've also eaten surströmming, so that's saying something.
