Let's say that you have one single day in the Orlando area, and you can only go to one of the 6 Disney/Universal parks. Which would you pick?
Which park is the best, most superior, has the best rides, and most of all the most fun, etc? Which is the best Orlando Disney/Universal park?

My vote did not factor in overcrowding. MK was teh vote, but if you factor in crowds I would have to change it to IOA.

43% to 40% for Islands of Adventure over MK. I knew it would be close, but I didn't think a Universal park would beat the ultimate MK park on these boards. I agree with people that MK is just so crowded and they haven't done anything to help that. Factor in the irritating way Tron has people line up (seriously, is that the wave of the future, you get a text when you can line up?) and I totally get it. Islands is incredibly fun, the rides are great, the lines go faster and the theming is great. I think it is just nostalgia and maybe just more attention to detail that makes MK still the better and more fun experience. But man, it is narrowing isn't it? They aren't helping themselves by never figuring out a way to make things like Peter Pan load better or replacing Splash Mountain (I know Tiana is still going to be a nice ride, but it can't replace arguably the best ride in the park). At the end of the day though you still have to rely on classic Disney to put them over the top. Pirates, Haunted Mansion, the shows, Small World, etc. all of that stuff makes you glad you are there when you experience it. I'll still take a day at MK over any other place in Orlando.

I voted MK but it’s very close with IOA (primarily because of Velocicoaster and Hagrids)

Ultimately there’s more to do and see at MK (for us) though. IOA has a few spectacular rides and an amazing land but the rest we are kind of indifferent too, MK is a bigger selection of good rides and lands we enjoy and we are bigger fans of the Disney characters also.

For us MK and IOA would be tier one, Ep and AK would be tier 2, and HS and US would be last.

I absolutely despise the virtual que garbage.
We have little ones and sometimes go home.

Just switch it already to a good old fashioned line.

Enough with the money grabs already.

I think MK's advantage is the variety in the types of rides. IOA is generally geared towards thrills even with its dark rides; that's amazing if you love thrills (I do) but I get why it isn't as appealing as MK's lineup.

I voted for MK (although Disneyland would’ve received the vote if it was up there). I love the nostalgia factor from my childhood and when we used to bring our boys as tots—they’re now 20 and 18. Time flies!

MK purely for the sheer number of attractions! IOA probably has the best rides (Hagrid and Velocicoaster other than Rise..) but MK wins for the sheer amount of stuff to do.

If asked a few years ago, I would have said any one of the WDW parks, but these days I find myself leaning towards IoA/US parks, having stripped all the magic away and replaced it with Genie+, virtual queues and all the other nonsense which has become the legacy of Chapek by wringing out every last dime from everyone who ventures near WDW.
