maybe they have but they STILL OUTSOURCED their it dept years ago, a good friend from high school was a victim of that....:shrug:

There are well over 700 Business Technology workers working in Orlando alone. Portions get outsourced (as with any lob), of course... but it is still largely/majority done in-house.

yes I went online @ 8 to order halloween tickets and they said sold out I called the number and they said we have 300 left! ( im goin on halloween) so if any one else is I would get your tickets today!

Wow, that is unusual. It typically takes a few months before they sell out Oct 31st. Last year it did not sell out untill late September. I seems hard to believe that this year they would nearly sell out on the first day.

I'm a full-time IT worker - if my systems were down or had as much trouble as Disney's systems, I'd be fired long ago.

There is no excuse for web sites that haven't been properly load tested/balanced etc - they moan and groan and buckle under the load every time a new promotion is released - especially for their travel agents - who are trying to book trips for their clients - and the general public is having just as much trouble.

Their uptime is no where near 99%.
