Most disappointing attraction?

I have fond memories of the original Journey Into Imagination ride from the 80s (yes, I'm kinda old), so while the starfield was indeed cool, gutting the original and dumping Figment was a bizarre, awful idea. And yeah, the new ride is... not great.
Well, it's my understanding that the turntable had extreme difficulties. Maybe it would've been a ton of effort and money to fix it, and that's why they went with a gutting. I'm no expert on these things. By that time HISTA was in place, so they wanted to unify the pavilion (ironically now it's right back in a non-unified position since EO is back). It's still meh though, and from what I hear and have watched, the original was much more substantial.

Am I the only person who enjoys every attraction? I know that some of them suck, but that's kind of part of the fun. Stitch is horribly bad, I agree, but you have to just laugh at how awful it is. Journey into imagination is kind of the same thing.

As for Jungle Cruise, Tiki, Swiss Family...I consider it blasphemous to criticize these attractions. Also, I hate to say this but if you can't find anything cool about the tree then I fear you must have no imagination at all!

I had generally favorable FP+ results. I don't even understand what everyone is hating on it for, someone explain?

I'm not sure about others' experiences, but I don't want to have to plan every moment of my vacation 90 days in advance. We aren't planners, we're more "what do we feel like doing today?" kind of people, and FP plus makes that really hard. The old FP system worked great - we could show up at any park, grab a FP for the big attractions and do other stuff in the meantime. We went in October of last year and even though we'd planned the trip for a long time, we didn't buy our park tickets until we arrived, so we were trying to get FPs on the day of, and we just couldn't get anything we wanted. I don't like that people sitting at home get priority over people who are actually IN the park. Also, the system had many weird glitches and often malfunctioned.

I really hate having to look at my phone constantly. It sucks the life out of what's supposed to be a vacation.

I guess I'm lucky in that the person planning my trip is a travel agent in their day job; they love planning things. So they just asked everyone "hey, what rides do you like?" and booked our FP's a few weeks out, and we could just walk around, hop on our rides when they became available, and book more once those ran out.

That said, I feel sorry for folks who aren't comfortable using computers or pre-planning at all; I feel like they're going to have a lot of trouble getting on rides. But I'm certainly glad I don't have to join the "mad rope-drop dash for Soarin'!" mob just to get a paper FP to ride it anymore. And my first half-dozen trips to WDW were before any FP system at all was there, so FP+, at its worst, still beats standing in two-hour long lines :)

I think I'm going to change my most disappointing ride.

Now, I think I'll say 7DMT. It had all the makings of a true E-Ticket....our first one since Everest. However, budget cuts, a slow timeline, and a lack of execution made it a disappointment for me. I defended it at first, but it really wasn't good enough for the time it took. Had they delivered an excellent product, it would have been worth the wait. As it sits, it's about half as long as it should be and the storyline is really not the best. The ending is abrupt and the entire ride is not really a representation of the Snow White story.

It is gorgeous on the outside and well-themed. However, the ride is SO SHORT and the projection-faced dwarfs are cool at first, but somehow a lazy excuse for a true animatronic figure.

Compare Splash Mountain versus the Mine Train and you'll see the lack of animation and detail in the 7DMT. Splash Mountain had seemingly countless show scenes. One after the other and when you think it's over after the drop, there is ANOTHER show scene to end the ride.

I realize it's a rollercoaster that will naturally be over sooner, but they could have done more scenes where they slow the train. It's like they are rushing us through it.

This'll sound kinda bad, but realistically any ride that I have to wait more than 15 minutes is probably going to be disappointing. Not because of the ride itself, but more because none of the rides at Disney have this huge payoff. All the rides with long lines probably are the shortest as well. If I can walk onto any ride, then they are all worthwhile in my book.

-Barnstormer is hugely overrated.
-Its a small world is not good, let's face it...usually line isn't that long though.
-Winnie the pooh is not that great.
-Enchanted Tales with Belle is WAY WAY WAY OVERRATED.
-Space Mountain is a horrible roller coaster, but like it for nostalgic purposes.
-7DMT is actually not a great coaster either for the amount you wait.
-Peter Pan is technically overrated, but my kids love the movie so I can deal with it.

I didn't really wait in long lines for any of them between FP+ and Rider Switch, but I can't imagine waiting more than 35 minutes for any of the coasters, peter pan, and ETWB, and anything more than 20 for the others.

Apparently I'm more easily impressed than most, because there are few WDW attractions that I find wholly "disappointing" ("reimagingings" yes, but attractions in general, no).

That being said, I was really disappointed the first time I experienced The [now-gone] Maelstrom. The advertisements I'd seen, which referred to experiencing "the fury of the Maelstrom," seemed to suggest that the attraction would actually simulate some sort of storm at sea in a Viking ship. I expected tossing around, with water and lightning and thunder effects and sea monsters, and boy, was I excited! When I realized that it was just a tame, informational boat ride with some pop-up trolls and an oil derrick, I felt like an idiot for having looked forward to it.

I was also thoroughly disgusted with the waste of time that is Stitch's Great Escape, but it's not fair to say I was "disappointed," since I'd read enough reviews ahead of time to know exactly what I was getting into. ;)

I really hate having to look at my phone constantly. It sucks the life out of what's supposed to be a vacation.

But you don't have to plan out every moment. Just make advanced reservations for 3 rides and then more if you want to. The rest of your time can be spent unplanned and doing what you want.

And why are you looking at your phone so much? You set up the ride reservation then wait for that time to come. Doesn't require you to look at your phone, unless you use it as a watch. Then you would have to so you know when to get to the ride reservation...which you would have had to do under the old system as well.

As for disappointing rides, I will go with 7DMT. Luckily I was able to secure a FP+ for it and we rode without waiting even 5 minutes. But overall it was way to short and I was hoping for more out of the swinging cars.

The projection faces are how pretty much all the new-gen AAs are being done, to great effect. From Little Mermaid to Storytime with Belle and now Mine Train, they're using projections to give the eyes and mouths a lot of life while still being very much a true (and very advanced) animatronic.

I was disappointed with mission space actually, I didn't feel much through the ride but as soon as I stood up I was walking all over the place and sick for hours. Never again
