Over the years there have been so many rumors involving the disney parks that it becomes hard to keep track. I wanna hear some of the most bizarre, weird, or strange rumors you guys have ever heard (That obviously would never come true) about something involving Disney World. This could be new rides coming, rides getting replaced, 5th gate rumors ANYTHING

Imagination being replaced by phineas and ferb.
I don't know how people think that disney would replace a ride with a tv show, especially a show who's popularity would not last forever. Disney never makes TV show rides, only stage shows.
However, there is this art, but it is so well done that it is hard to tell it is fan art or not, but I think it is fan art due to one thing

The girl in the yellow shirt is from the 80s version of spaceship earth. Why would disney want such a minor character to be a meet and greet? Let alone one that isn't related to the show at all.

Ya know, I have a lot of cast member friends and I watched them share two incredibly stupid articles

1. Tangled would replace It's A Small World
2. Coco will replace The Haunted Mansion

And these cast members ACTUALLY BELIEVED THESE ARTICLES

Just a quick rundown, what exactly was the issue here? He saw King Louie on the side of the river he thought? After that the thread is all over the place. Sorry, never heard of this one, I don't think.

How about the best rumour ever? Walt is frozen and buried beneath the castle (presumably Disneyland). It took a life of its own over the years almost to the point of being assumed to be factual. Truthfully, Walt is buried in Forest Lawn Cemetary in California if I recall.

I heard rumors they were going to cancel the night parade, replace Wishes, charge for resort parking, and raise prices. True rumors are the worst kind.

Not just King Louie, but an earthquake sequence in the Indian temple ruins.

Then there was that GotG Epcot rumor was that a 4D Guardians Show was going to the Magic Eye Theater after the final closure of Captain EO, as phase 1 of a full overhaul of Imagination, which would eventually see a new dark ride and the return of the Dreamfinder, in a new adventure inspired by the Marvel Comics “Figment!” Series.


But that rumor was quickly quashed when we realized that it wasn’t pants-on-the-head-off-the-wall enough for Team Disney Orlando.

My favorite was a bus driver rumor that surfaced around the time Disney bought Marvel saying that the Marvel rides at Universal were going to be disassembled and move to DHS.

FIFTH GATE.

- Disney's Night Kingdom that would be open only from 6pm-5am, and feature nothing but villains, with the centerpiece of the park would be the Bald Mountain roller coaster instead of a castle.

- Disney’s Star Wars Universe that would feature lands based on the different planets in the SW franchise.
The central point of this park would be essentially a clone of the Spaceship Earth building, but made to look like the original Death Star.
And naturally it is going to house a roller coaster.

- Disney’s Lost Kingdom that would House recreations of every attraction that WDW has ever shut down, regardless of the reason they were shut down.
Mr. Toad, Alien Encounter, 20,000 Leagues, Kitchen Kabaret....and Sounds Dangerous. Because I’m sure someone out there actually misses Sounds Dangerous, and watches YouTube videos of it with a glistening eye.
Even though the YouTube video is 90% blank screen.

Tomorrowland going to be renamed Discoveryland

Disney Hollywood studios going to be renamed Cinemagic (although a possible rename was credible since it came from Iger himself).

The springs at Disney Springs was going to have a light show.

Discoveryland is much more fitting for epcot IMO.
Even though that is what tomorrowland is called in paris.
