Morimoto reservations through Open Table just made

I'm not sure if I should put this here or in Disney Springs forum, but I was just able to make ressies for Morimoto through Open Table. The website seemed a little wonky today but about 15 munites ago I was able to make them and did receive a conformation number. So think it worked.

I was wondering if your reservation was made for dates sept 30-dec 15th? I tried to make a reservation for Jan 28, 2016 and could not secure as it states I exceeded the number of guests (2-4) and dates? I will continue to try again over the next few days.

Apparently they are currently only taking reservations through Oct. 31st, and only for dinner. Their site on Open Table wasn't working properly most of the day, but I was finally able to make one for Oct. 24th. They will eventually accept lunch reservations, but not for at least a few weeks after they open. I'm not sure when reservations will open for January. I recommend following them on Facebook, that's where I was able to find the info that I did (although it wasn't easy). Hope this helps!

I just replied to your other post in the other thread but I will post here also so people know, I was able to make one for 11/15, so it must go past Oct. But the website was goofy and several times it said it wasn't able to complete the request.

eta, Now if we could just see a menu to see if I want to keep the reservation!

I replied over there as well. Several people were reporting that reservations were only being accepted until Oct. 31st. I just went on Open Table, and it looks like you can make reservations into November, but no further.

Agreed on the menu! I think it was supposed to be released today, but it doesn't seem like anything went as planned. There are a lot of angry people who couldn't get reservations.

I have no clue how far out reservations will go through Open Table. However, I have to wonder if they are uploading dates little by little. Because, at first it only went through Oct, then Nov and now just for fun, I tried a mock booking for Dec. That seemed like it was going to work. I went to Jan and it didn't. So you never know, maybe later tonight or tomorrow it will be further out.

It sounds like that might be the case. I'm assuming reservations will begin being accepted at 180 days out once they become available on MDE on 11/1. Until then, who knows...

No reservations available for lunch at this time, but contrary to Morimoto's page reservations for dinner seem to be available for 90 days out, not just through October. I made my dinner reservation for December 13th. 90 days is pretty consistent with most Boston area restaurants for how far out you can book Open Table, so I'd imagine this would be fairly similar.

They had a ton of issues with the Open Table website today - it was down every five minutes.

So today I tried and this is what it says "Reservations for Morimoto Asia are available starting Sept. 30th." but when I look at dates from oct 31st on it says "Please accept our apologies on behalf of Morimoto Asia. Online reservations are not available on this date at this restaurant."

Somewhat related, I know someone pointed out just as The Boathouse was opening, which also accepts reservations via Open Table that the Open Table window was rather small, meaning you couldn't book 100 days out or so. I do not know if the limited window on Open Table is flexible from restaurant to restaurant and I'm not sure exactly what that date window was and cannot find the post now, it's buried somewhere in one of the Boathouse threads in the Disney Springs subforum I think.

I read on Facebook that reservations had lots of glitches yesterday and that now you can only book through Oct 31st,
but anyone that managed to squeak in a reservation past that date will have it honored.
