With Fantasmic being at 8:30, Illuminations at 9 and Wishes at 10, is it possible to hit more than one in one day? I was thinking Illuminations then Wishes, b/c I don't know how long Illuminations is, but is it at least possible to see Fantasmic then Wishes? I want to see all 3 shows but don't know if we'll have time! :(

It might be possible to do Fantasmic and Wishes, but it will be very tight as Fantasmis ends at 9p and getting out of the stadium isn't that quick. Illuminations is 15 minutes and you would have to be standing by the front of WS and fly to the monorail the minute it was over.

I've done Illuminations and made a mad dash for the monorail to make it to MK in time for Wishes. It was fun to do, but it was the only time I've done that.

You might have to do some running, but it's totally do-able, I've done it before, actually.

Either you can do: 1.) Fantasmic! and Wishes or 2.) Illuminations and Wishes.

If you're going for #1, the 8:30 Fantasmic! should let out around 9:00pm, from there you'll want to get yourself out of that theater ASAP, and then getting out of the park shouldn't be too bad because you'll have beat most of the crowd, plus many stop to shop on the way out. Quickly head over to the Magic Kingdom bus stop. The bus should take you to the TTC. From there, you know the drill---ferry or monorail (I'd go with the latter). This should put you in MK right around or shortly before 10:00pm.

If you're going for #2, make sure you have your running shoes on! Watch Illuminations in the viewing area between the two shops directly across the lagoon from the American Adventure. This way not only do you have one of the best views of the show, but you are also one of the first ones out of the park. Once Illuminations ends, it should be around 9:15pm and you should be booking it to the park exit. Head towards the monorail station and jump on the first monorail you can heading towards the TTC. Hopefully you make it to the TTC by about 9:45pm, so you can transfer monorails and get to the MK right around 10:00pm.

It won't be a walk in the park, but it definitely is do-able!

If the timing is right you can do it. I've seen Fantasmic!, Illuminations and Wishes all in the same night. Not that I would suggest it because after Wishes I was dead, but it's cool to say you've done it.

Wow! I am impressed. Good for you!

If you want to see 2 shows in a night, I'd wait for a night with extra magic hours at one of the parks - that would make it a LOT easier to do! It's possible without the extra hours (we've done it) but I don't like the rushing.

On my last night at WDW, one of my roommates and I went to MGM for Fantasmic! and then drove to see Wishes at MK. I can't remember what the times were, though...this was this past January 4.

Very true. It will be more like a SPRINT in the park. I have attempted #1 before. **Sit at the absolute rear of the theatre (near the center) and as soon as the final boat comes out, make a run for it.** We got to MK in time but due to crowds, we couldnt really get close enough to see anything too well. DEFINETLY take the Monorail from the TTC to MK though. The monorails seem to go a lot faster and run more frequently. Unless I was seriously hopped up on caffine (or some other pharmaceutical stimulant) I wouldnt even attempt #2. In my opinon, 45 minutes is not enough time to successfully transfer parks without setting a land speed record.

Whatever you choose, have a great time and write us a nice trip report when you get back!

isn't Fantasmic sometimes on at 7?
I think it depends what time of year you are going but I think it's all doable coz the show times do change a bit what with EMH and stuff, if you do it on the right days you should be fine

We have done Illuminations with the Holiday Tag and Wishes in the same night twice. We watched Illuminations at the entrance of the WS and then took the monorail to MK. However, I'm not sure what the times were for the shows.

Agreed, it can be done, I've done it twice. I suggest you do NO MORE than 2 shows a night. Here are some tips you should follow in order to view 2 shows. Please note, you will need to use Disney transportation in order to use this plan.

VERY IMPORTANT: Don't take ANY bags or purses with you for viewing nighttime shows. It really slows you down because you'll have to go through a security checkpoint before you enter the park which could easily take 10 minutes or more.

The following depend on showtimes
To view IllumiNations then Wishes:
View Illuminations where others have suggested, from the entrance to World Showcase which is pretty much dead center. You'll get a great view and be able to sprint towards the Monorail IMMEDIATELY after the show. (Show is about 15 minute long.) Take the mono over to TTC and then take mono over to MK. Plan to view Wishes from the Main Street train station or the very beginning of Main Street.

To view Fantasmic then IllumiNations:
Sit towards the rear of the theatre to view Fantasmic. (Show is about 22 minutes long.) Exit ASAP and sprint or run towards the park exit. There is a pathway that connects MGM and Epcot. Use that pathway to walk to Epcot. Walk should be about 30 minutes or so, depending on pace. This will take you to the rear entrance of Epcot, the International Gateway. From here, you can find a few good spots to view the show, even minutes before showtime. I suggest the bridge between the UK and France or the lower terrace in the French Island.

To view IllumiNations then Fantasmic:
View IllumiNations from somewhere in the UK or France and immediately after the show exit through the International Gateway and walk at a quick pace towards MGM using the pathway that connects the two. PLEASE NOTE: This only works when Fantasmic is being shown at 10:30 PM since IllumiNations is almost always at 9:00 PM. For the 10:30 showing of Fantasmic, there is always enough seating to view the show, even if you get there right as the show starts.

To view Fantasmic then Wishes:
View Fantasmic from the rear of the theatre and immediately after the show, sprint towards the exit. From there, take a bus from MGM to MK. Plan to watch Wishes from the Main Street train station or from the beginning of Main Street.

Hope that helps, good luck!
