So fianally got an update..guys!

I called Casting today, asked them "What is seasonal?" she said..'Katie' that for the first month you have to have full availability, and then after that any day out of the whole year! So back to the real question.."Am I allowed to work any days out of the whole year? or just busy times? Thaks!

You can work whenever you want, You give them when you can only work, so if you could only work weekends you would say i can only work saturday and sundays , then they would schedule you for every saturday and sunday after that. But you have to give them almost three weeks to a month advance so they know.

I am not sure about that one, but I know training last for a week so you would have to be out of school for that. So that might be the rule. I went to seasonal though from being a CP.

What is full availability for seasonal Cast Members? I've heard once a week..is that true? but that's for the first month.

That might be the policy right after you get hired there that you have to give them a full months avalibility. Then after that you could work a week out of the year. Ask them why you have to give full months , they might be able to tell you better.

Do any CM's in these boards, recomend that a sophmore high school student that lives 45 min. away from Disney, get a seasonal job at Disney? I will wait till the summer...to have my interview. Thanks!

I would wait till the summer, that is a long drive from the looks of it. I am sure your parents would also like that you would work during the summer with that drive due to school. But thats what I recommend.

Ok back to these questions again...these thread will be an 'on, off' phase

I wanna hear from the CM's views..on this. I want a position in characters, and nothing else..do you recommend that I audition/interview this December, so I can get in there for NEXT summer?

Because I realize that it takes a while to get called, so by the time I get called back, it should be around summer time. So do you recommend that I audition now? Or wait till summer to audition?
